Should a Hordak rerelease be blue?

I think I read that Hordak will get a re-release at a later date, if this re-release happens wouldn't it be cool if he were blue? I've seen a blue Hordak thread before and thought that it would be really cool to have one with blue skin like in the cartoon. Mattel can do this because he appeared this way in a mini comic. I think doing it this way would ensure that the re-release is equally as collectible as the original. What do you guys think?

Would I buy him in Blue? Nope.
Should he be released in a blue deco? I know it would make a lot of fans happy.
Could they release him in blue? Don't know... No idea if that fits within the "filmation restrictions" or not.

I think that's a great idea! I've always liked the blue Hordak better...more fitting with the rest of the colorful MOTU IMO.

I think they should do a straight re-release for everyone that missed out this week.

Should they do a blue repaint Hordak as a bonus figure some month? Sure.
I wouldn't care to buy it, but I think there might be others interested.

No. A Hordak Rerelease should be identical to the first release. So that those buying the rerelease get exactly the same figure that everybody else got.

Nope! No way! Definitely Not!

Although I would love to have a blue-skin version down the road, but as for the RE-release of Hordak, it should be definitely the same as the previous! Otherwise, it will just be a new figure!

A variant? Yes! but a new figure nevertheless!

Have to agree with everyone else.

If we get a Blue Hordak he should be his own seperate bonus figure and not a rerelease, which should be the same as the orginal.

As a rerelease, no, cause the folks who missed out should be able to get what they missed out on. On the other hand, I agree with those above who think it should be a special repaint! I wouldn't buy it, but it's an awesome homage for those who loved his toon look.

They could make me buy it, though, if they added some of his crazy arm morphs from the show! They could take out the staff and crossbow, paint the imp blue, and then just add in all sorts of arm attachments to make it a unique release!

I've gotta agree with most everyone else. The Hordak Re-release should be exactly the same. But a Blue Hordak as a bonus figure would be awesome.

Hordak always looked cooler in grey IMO - I wouldn't buy him if he was released in blue - too similar to Skeletor.

I understand what you're saying, As it happens my little avatar is a thumbnail of the Earl Norem "Evil Horde" Poster from the He-Man and the masters of the universe Magazine. As you can see, he's blue with lightning shooting out of his hand.

I remember that I had this poster, along with many others on my wall in my bedroom as a kid and it was my Favorite. He looks SUPER COOL.
However, the thing about the blue skin vs the grey is that, grey sortof matches his body/head whereas a blue body always looked like a blue spandex body suit. Would I buy him? Hordak is my favorite character(just look at the avatar/unless ive changed it) Of course I would, but I think it be more to have as a MOC or to resell, not to display like my other one.

I don't think they will do a reissue of Hec-Tor in Blue. That would not be a "rerelease". I will however have a MOC Blue Hec-Tor in a few weeks! Cant Wait

A little off topic but did you know that He Man, without the hyphen (He-Man) is actually the name of a chinese warrior during the yellow turban rebellion that preceded the three kingdoms perios in china?
In the classic novel Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong he has one line:
"I am He Man, the devil that defies the heavens!"

as you can also see, IMP is behind him, indicating that this is heavily influenced by the cartoon, and therefore is no basis for comparison, unfortunately.

Uhhh, I was actually just using this to show how cool he looked in blue.....I'm not sure what being influenced by the cartoon has to do with it.

Exactly. I would buy a blue Hordak, but not if it meant never getting the grey one!
