that is tough. illumina would have a cool 200x look. shokoti is a sure thing to get made.

Well, I have no real love for the Filmation toon, but I think Shokoti is cooler 'cause I went and looked up her episode and it was actually kinda cool. I can see a lot of potential for her as a mysterious and powerful evil. I like having the main factions like Skeletor, Hordak, and King Hss; but I also like having those strange enemies that don't have armies behind them. That, and she seems to control horrible eldritch tenticle beasts, so that's pretty cool.

Illumina is very cool, but she's just that: very cool. I've read up on her, and I'd like a figure of her sometime, but Shokoti interests me way more as a character.

I hope that, if they make a figure of her, they keep those horrible, empty black eyes!

A real beloved and never before availible character, or what is a pretty good basically fan character.

No hate for Illumina. Just dont have any attachment to her. At all.

None.

Like I want Songster more. Of course I want songster more than Dragstor, Blast attack, Netossa, and all NA heroes beyond Sagitar.

It's funny...there seem to be a few Illumina vs polls going on right now.

What's really funny about this one though, is that Shokoti is an evil Gar Sorceress who wants to spread darkness over Eternia and is weakened by light.

Illumina was once an evil Gar woman, who became a Guardian of Grayskull and controls the light!

They would be perfect enemies.

Anyway, I do really want both, but I had to go with Illumina.

Shokoti was created before the "G-word" was ever used. She's not one of those.

She was going to be.

I was looking through a bunch of threads and stuff for an Illumina project and I saw something that mentioned Shokoti was a Gar (for the 200X story, if she got included). Makes sense to me.

2002 had Fisto as Teela's dad, gave us a Count Marzo who was entirely different than the original one, and Marlena was going to be an Eternian. Even though I don't consider the bios MOTU canon, even they dismiss a lot of MYP's continuity. There's one Shokoti and the 2002 era has nothing to do with her.

I went with Illumina because my collectiong focuses on somewhat heroic characters. Though Shokoti would be cool too.

I like them both equally. I never saw House of Shokoti as a kid, so I have no nostalgic attachment to her character.

Illumina is far less likely to be made as a figure, which is why I voted for her. She needs our support more than Shokoti does.

Well, I had to be honest and go with Shokoti, but I do love Illumina.

Who made that Shokoti statue btw? That is killer! I hope an eventual Shokoti figure looks more like that and not totally straight-up Filmation.

Wow this really is a tough one as both are high on my list, but if I were pushed I think I'd have to go for Illumina.

I think Shokoti will be a Gar in MOTUC and if she had made it into 200x she would have been one in that canon as well.

I really like both of them and they both have a place in the Classics line, in time.

In the end, I prefer light based powers over darkness based powers. Heh, it may not be the best logic but it is mine

. So Illumina got my vote.

Shokoti for sure. Illumina is a great character/design, but something about her just doesn't grab my interest. I wonder if she was depicted in a Filmation style what she would look like though.

If Shokoti is made a "G-word" just because she's blue, then I guess Fisto, Ram Man, Man-At-Arms, & Mekaneck must all be Americans of European descent since that's what Marlena is.

Naw, they're Eternian.

Unless you go OLD canon where Earthlings were the first Eternians...then you're probably right.

About their race though...Man-At-Arms and Fisto are brothers and Ram-Man LOOKS a lot like Man-At-Arms, so they're probably all the same. Can't comment on Mekaneck though. We didn't see his face before he got messed up.

I'm fine with her being a Gar. Sy-Klone is a Gar. What's wrong with Gars?

Also, not ALL blue people are Gars. Trollans are blue skinned with the pointy ears. They look just like Gars...just...short and floating. Who knows, we might find out Trollan + human = Gar.

I only want Shokoti more if she is a Gar.

I also want a new less sucky name for the Gar.

Shokoti as an evil sorceress originating from Infinita is all kinds of awesome though. I'm sticking with that until something official contradicts it.
