The figures that can be produced are figures that were in the original MOTU, POP and NA lines, as well as in the mini-comics for these lines.
Characters that appeared in the 2002 MYP cartoon are also fair game.
Filmation characters are off limits!
Who will be produced will remain to be seen.

We will pick up to 5 questions we feel might get answers at that time. Please do not take offense to your question not being asked.

Now that vehicles are on the table, would you guys include 200X and NA vehicles as well?

Now that it has been acknowledged that those who purchased Battleground Teela were overcharged on shipping fees, what are the plans to rectify this?

Would Mattel consider cancelling a figure if all indications pointed to unexpectedly low sales of said figure? Related to this, is feedback from conventions or other events Mattel participates in used to gauge fan interest and to make decisions related to the direction of the MOTUC toy line?

Are any of the 30th Anniversary characters going to be in the 2012 mini-comics?

Since the Griffin was shown at Powercon may have asked for the wings to be painted the correct Colors like the Griffin from the MYP cartoon Brown,black and gray. Will the Griffins wings get painted in the correct colors since the solid grey is not well liked?
faceless ones inside hood was changed from purple to black because the fans knew it would look like the MYP cartoon and it turned out great after mattel listened. Will mattel listen to the fans about the griffins wings?

Do you have plans for the Meteorbs in MOTUC, and are the Meteorbs included in the "MOTUC roadmap" ?

We know that Draego-Mans extra weapons and Keldors swords will becoming at some point but why not release them together in 'A Snake Mountain Hidden Weapons Chest' in the same vein as the weapons rack you could add mini story of a slow/dumb Clawful having lost the key or misplacing the chest. Whilst adding few repaints (black Hurricane Hordak weapons)?

It has been asked if Castle Grayskull could be sold in separate parts, sort of as a collect & build type of playset, thinking this would bring the cost down, but it has been stated that it wouldn't make sense logistically & If Castle Grayskull were to be made, it would be done properly. Now, my question is where would your stance be on a future 3 Towers of Eternia playset. Being that this is considered the mother of all action figure playsets, is Eternia a playset that you think at cheaper cost, it could be sold as 3 separate mini-playsets, as they are technically 3 stand alone towers minus the connecting monorail system. And even though I would love to see the monorail system and think that parts of the track and a monorail vehicle could be packaged with each "tower mini-playset", that Eternia diorama/display at SDCC showed how awesome the towers can be without the track. What are your thoughts on the Ultimate Battleground and selling it this way?

What types of plastic does Mattel use to cast the MOTUC figures?

In planning the annual figure release schedules, does Mattel/4H have some sort of fixed MOTU-POP-NA-200x ratio in mind, e.g. every year should have 3 heroic warriors, 1 evil warrior, 2 POP, etc?

We know that no figure past Hurricane Hordak and Leech will ever see a reissue, but this is valid for army builders too?If yes, do you plan to release those with new stuff like new heads and accessories or after it is sold out we need to go to secondary market to increase our armys?

Now I know it has been stated that we will be getting no Filmation style varients of any figures, such as Heman, Skelator, Randor, etc, Everything is in the "Classicized" Format. Would you guys consider a "Classicized" version of Filmation Clawful, Tung lashor, and Multibot as varients, due to the extreme differences in their character design, sort of Like we got with Zodak and Zodac, and Teela and the Goddess. Tung lashor especially, he could even be turned into a new character, as he looks nothing like his toy counterpart.

When you guys start doing more Filmation figures, how will you decide what accessories they will come with? Will they mostly be accessories from the episodes they appeared in or will the Four Horsemen do up some new things for them if they didn't really have accessories in the cartoon? Love Shadow Weaver's accessories from the cartoon by the way!

Will Mattel please consider adding an orb accessory to the Temple of Darkness Sorceress to go along with the orb stand or at least consider another orb in a future weapons pack since not everyone may have one from King Grayskull?

There are only six slot available for the MOTU 30th line. So far we have two heroic warriors and one evil warrior. The create-a-character winner excluded, can you give us any idea as to whether the other two figures will branch out to other factions in the franchise?

The Filmation Modulok did not seem to have the same shape-changing abilities as the toy. His proportions were also more muscular than the toy, with arms and a torso that were more in line with the rest of the range. To save on lots of new tooling for Modulok, could he be released in his Filmation version (Four legs, two arms, torso with one head), possibly with his extra head as an accessory? His four-legged lower body could also be shared with a Mantenna sculpt.

The Alcala Skeletor head looks amazing!!!! Here is the thing tho, what if we want all our Skeletors with that head? So in that case how bout including 1 in in upcoming weapons pack (for all of us who need one for Battle-Armor Skeletor too) and start including it as an alternate head with the other variants like Dragon Blaster and such?

Their seems to be debate over Snake-Man-at-arms and whether the proto shown at NYCC was the finished product or whether their was still some paint or bits to be added. Can you clarify???

With all the buzz around brand new characters in the 30th Anniversary line would it be plausible to expand the MotU mythos with new characters using 2 of the quarterly variant slots? New characters could be designed by the Four Horsemen, Mattel Design Department or taken from some of the better Create-A-Character concepts (seeing as Mattel owns the rights to these)

Since all the Jetlag characters and designs are possible now, what´s happening to the MARA prototype design is it still in rights limbo? Can the FOUR HORSEMEN take the prototype as a reference for a MOTUC figure?

It has been mentioned that flight stands for beasts are being considered. Will they be something subtle, like the Wind Raider stand... something relatively unnoticable that props the item up securely from the bottom? Or will they feature giant non-translucent clips that clasp around the midsection of the beast, akin to the already released flight stands for 6" figures?

I know I have seen that Teela and Tri-Klops will be getting a re-issue.....since Snake Man At Arms is coming in 2012....will the original MAA, get a re-issue too?....or will SMAA get a "Duncan" mustached head?
