I know Illumina Day is December 15th, but I finished my Illumina art and wanted to post it here to make sure it's okay to post or not.

I got this idea from T-shirts my mom had when I was young. They were bulldogs and had a saying and a picture of a bulldog mimicking the word. ex: convertibull (with a cartoon dog having his mouth opened like a convertible), Bulldozer, etc.

Here's my Illumina pic using that similar idea attached to pin-up art:

I think she kind of looks like Mena Suvari for some reason.

Great art, everyone!

Crusader, your Ice Hacker is all kinds of scary! The teeth and eyes! I love the breath effect too.

I think it's really neat you put her in a cold climate! She makes me think of winter because of the white clothes.

Jon-O, that picture is SO EPIC!!! I never would have thought of doing art based on moments that happened in her story!

I know it sounds strange, but I really didn't. I was SO EXCITED when I saw that! It's like looking at a page of the comic that didn't get to happen!

I love the "painting" look, colours and glowing effect!

DO4M, when I first saw your picture on TheFwoosh (I think it was), it really made me chuckle! Nice picture and she does actually look really nice in purple (which is what make me chuckle)!

Illumina Day, Mattycollector.com order day AND the final day of the He-Man.org fan character poll are tomorrow! It's going to be a very big day!

In honour of Illumina Day being tomorrow, and to hopefully get people pumped up, here's another poster I put together!

I'm happy to report that people are already starting to post pieces of art on various other websites that are taking part in Illumina Day and I will do my best to make sure they all get seen.

I hope everyone has a fantastic December 15th!

Ok I am not going to get my entry for Illumina day ready to the point where I feel she will be totally finished in time for tommorow. So I have decided to just put some pics up from where she is at right now. I'm no drawer so I made a custom figure instead! I will probably continue working on her for a while and post totally finished shots another time. I hope you like her so far.

My main source of inspiration....I did much up on the chest design, which I will try to correct later!

Wow, that's really cool Angel-T!

It's so awesome to see Illumina figures!

I know you're not done Angel-T, but I have a really tiny suggestion. I think doing a really light brown wash on the tops of the boots might look really nice...or maybe a cream-like colour? It will help break up the boots and the legs more. She still looks fantastic though!

Dark Sorceress' pic is TOTALLY ADORABLE! And I've already embarrassed myself gushing over Angel-T's figure on Facebook. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope we get a figure of her in the line!
