Custom Man-E-Faces mace, Filmation powersword & NA powersword

    Hey folks,

I want to show you my latest projects! I created these using a 3D modelling program and I am quite satisfied with the results. I think I can show you even more in the future.

First a mace for Man-E-Faces. Like many others I had some hopes that his secret accessory would be the mace he used in the MYP cartoon. When I learned that it is not I thought about doing one myself.

I looked for some images of his mace (although there were not many I could find) and created some kind of hybrid.

    Here is the Result:

The handle fits in both hands although he has to hold it more on the upper end with his left hand.

Second is my powersword in Filmation style which I proudly present!

Last but not least comes my New Adventures Powersword. I have updated the design a little so it fits the style of the classics. The handle is a little bit loose in He-Man's hand but he can hold it well.

I painted it in toy colors and in the colors of the cartoon.

If somebody is interested in one of these items just send me a PM

    Hi,

    Awesome!
I love te club the most, I think because you are the first and it is cool and fresh. Are they printed or sculpted? Printed, right?
You should choose the smooth new plastic. I personally like it more because of the finish

Yep, they are printed. I have tried the smooth material on another project and you are right, it really is nice

    AMAZING work!!!

I love the club. Simple, but perfectly executed

The sword is quite nice too -- and I agree with Angel-T, a Sword of Protection would be wonderful.

Great work as always! That mace is awesome, I wonder why it wasn't included as an accessory with Man-E-Faces...

Thank you guys for all the nice feedback!

In the meantime I have finished the Sword of Protetion as well and it can be ordered, too . It is similar to the Sword of Power but I added the crystal and made the hilt stinner so that it will fit perfectly in the hands of the MotUC females.

Hi mike, you know I love these swords, they are bloody fantastic. I think he only polite critique I could give would be that the jewel in She-Ra's sword looks just a tiny bit to big if you are going for something that is completely on model with the Filmation design. If it was narrower and the outer arms were slightly curved (instead of straight) it would be totally perfect and completely on model with the Filmation swords.

I don't know if you saw these swords in the Lou Scheimer gallery thread the weekend, but it might help you understand what I mean about the jewel in She-Ra's sword and the slightly curved crossguards.

I would also love to see your blade length increased just a little for both of these swords, as I feel many of the 4H swords are two short in MOTUC, just my personal gripe! ;0) Please don't see these suggestions as negative....I totally love these swords! After seeing the large scale swords in the previously mentioned thread it made me think of your designs I hope you don't mind me shairing my thoughts. :0)

Shame that site can't make full size versions of the swords. Sure they're plastic. But they would make great display pieces!

Looks great! Do you have a store site anywhere online? I'd like to see what else you've made.

What's the general quality of these prints like? Are they smooth? Sturdy? I assume it comes in one color and you have to paint it.

I love the mace, how do I get one. Also now that you made this, you gotta make his spear, its the third form his weapon turned into. Here's a pic. Attachment 59307
