I'm also glad page 7 had some emotion to it. I was trying really hard to get it in there.

I was expecting Teela's hair to magically and instantaneously turn blond as she fought off the force bolts a few pages before, but it seems as she trains, there's a gradual change. I like it! And that pose came out great!!!

Well, here's Page 9! This is the last one I'll be posting until I get the rest of the book done. There are 4 pages left to go, and I feel they'll be best read as a unit instead of posted a page at a time. I don't know how much time I'll have the next few days as I'm heading out of town for the weekend, but it should be sometime next week that I can post the whole story! Looking forward to everyone being able to read the whole thing in one go.

Love the explain for the change in hair colour, nice and simple

The Matty bio's would probably have the Sorceress clone King Grayskulls hair then have MAA give Teela a hair transplant with with the cloned hair

Glad you guys liked the explanation. The more people said they were looking forward to it the more nervous I got that people would think it was too simple! But I kind of wanted something simple that kind of made sense and also provided a nice mother/daughter moment.

I didn't like the idea of "I'm magic now and blonde hair is more magical!" because... well, that's an insult to all we non-blondes out there, I think.

Little update:
I got one page done before I left... and hope to get one done tonight now that I'm back or a couple done tomorrow. I'm mulling over whether to add two more pages or not... not sure I need them though... we'll see.

Thanks! It's been a lot of fun. Well, I REALLY want to do Battleground Evil-Lynn's mini-comic because it'd essentially be a sequel to this one. But I'm not sure if I can do it right away. I am supposed to be finishing my first novel. LOL. I've just got a tiny bit more to go on that, so I should focus on that next. But then I'd really like to do the E-L mini-comic. After that? Not sure.

Really great story here, I very much enjoyed reading it. I also really like the reasoning you have given for the change in Teela's hair color, it was quite brilliant actually.

Thanks again all! I'm chomping at the bit to show you guys the rest of it! I only have one more page to go and it's all finished!

I decided to go ahead and put in the two pages I was going back and forth on. And it was the right choice. But man oh man those two pages were killer! I think you'll recognize them when you see the final product! So I'm hoping to have the final thing done and ready to view by Friday at the latest.
