I voted Ghostbusters because I liked them more as a kid. While I did like Beetlejuice as a kid, it wasn't as much as Ghostbusters. Also my mom hates Geena Davis so she often turned it off when we tried to watch it.

I think the Ghostbusters have faced more powerful ghosts, Beetlejuice wouldn't stand a chance.

    Love both movies!

Beetlejuice...the Ghostbusters faced ghosts that never killed. Beetlejuice (Betelgeuse) has actually killed and will kill. He doesn't mess around.

A couple of ghosts in Ghosbusters 2 were murderers executed in the electric chair.

But the thing to consider is: the Ghostbusters defeated Gozer, a God! Beetlejuice was defeated by two harmless ghosts and a girl .

They killed as humans, not as ghosts.

Pfft. What kind of god gets defeated by 4 mortals?

Technically, he was defeated by a sandworm...

    Fair enough.

Maybe not be an all-powerful one, but I still think Gozer was more dangerous than Beetlejuice.

Right, and then again by a head shrinking shaman. I love the character but I'm still convinced he would lose.

And I would beg to differ. And since this is a fantasy realm subject, I will just have to leave it at that.

Love both, but victory to the Boys in Beige. (Or gray.)

Did you guys read/hear/learn that a Beetlejuice sequel could happen? (Probably faster than GB3...)
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
