I want more for my money. Especially after we were expressly told by Mattel that the quarterly variants would not be cheap Battle Ground Evil Lyn quality repaints.
As far as some of us are concerned, I should say so.Maybe I misunderstood about the repaint.
I have no problem with this toy. Am I as happy as i would have been if they announced ram man? No, but this is still a cool addition to the line, and for those who haven't been able to get a man at Arms, this gives them a way to construct one
As many have said here, this 'Snake' Man-At-Arms would have been a lot better if they had made a bit more effort on him than juts the head. Where is his canon? Couldn't they have included an extra helmetless head? How about silver armor or perhaps something new?

Whatever, I'm a huge 200x fan, so this figure is perfect, imo. I'd say from what I've seen so far, this is going to be the best year ever. I'm glad I finally decided to jump onboard.
I think maybe it's come to the point where some guys should just step away for a little while. All this "killin teh lein" stuff may actually end up being the reason it does die. What I really don't get is how fans want more characters and when we get them they're not happy.
While I hope that more comes with and/or is done to this figure to make it stand out a bit more compared to the original MOTUC MAA figure, I don't want it separated from the sub. As a completest for this line, I want as many of the items that are coming out to be included in the sub when and where possible.
Plus at least this is still something of a logical variant. Granted, yes, it's an extra head that they could have given us with the original MAA or given to us some other way (i.e. how the Acala Skeletor head is coming with Demo Man), but looking at it from a "glass half full" perspective, I'd rather get a variant like this, which is actually based on something that occurred in one of the cartoon series or comics, rather than one of the more ridiculous variants that we got in the 200X line like the Samuri variants of He-Man, Skeletor, and MAA... or Martial Arts He-Man, Jungle Attack He-Man, etc. Plus even if they were to give us this head with another figure, then I'd have to go through the hassle of getting another regular MAA figure to put it on to display it along with the other heads that he originally came with.... and I'm sure many other fans are in the same boat in that respect.

In the name of the Lloyd!
does Snake Man-at-Arms come with any accessories other than the club and serpos ring? i missed out on the original MAA and it would seem pretty flimsy if that's all we got with this repaint.
God I hope MAA doesn't come with a ponytailed second head. That's not even some anti-MYP bias since I don't want NA He-Man to sport one either. I like my heroes clean cut. The Duncan I know & love wouldn't be caught dead with one.
I'd be more excited if he had his 200X blaster cannon and his helmetless head. Silver armor would be great for me, but as long as we get it in THE NEXT WEAPONS PAK I'll be good. I certainly hope he at least gets the bare head and repaints of his other weapons.
Still, I'm excited for him! I'm hoping for Snake Teela and Snake Mekaneck eventually...!

HOWEVER, I should point out that while both BG Evil-Lyn and this new version of Man-At-Arms both reuse the same body and armor/clothing sculpts from their first releases with some kind of new head included, Evil-Lyn got a whole new paint/color scheme, while Man-At-Arms has mostly the same color scheme as his first release (and as others have pointed out, his silver "VS. The Snakemen" color scheme would have been a logical option).
As such, I'm going to now going to protest this on the basis that Evil Lyn is getting preferential treatment over MAA, and I consider this to be sexism against men! This gross inequality will not stand and I will not rest until Mattel, ToyGuru, and the 4HM explain themselves for this clear, obvious case of inequality and how they could possibly ever let something this offensive happen! This will not stand!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this figure, so I'm happy with having it in the sub, but I agree that "Serpent Claw MAA" colors would definately have made this figure a much more worthwhile variant. I guess its too late for a complete repaint according to what toyguru has said in the past. I'd sign a petition to have the figures colors changed to Serpent Claw colors any time!
I was originally going to joke that this was Mattel's way of quieting 2002 fans.
"You don't like the Snake Man-At-Arms? Then we won't make anymore 2002 variants."
Then I remembered how many conspiracy theories there are already floating around this forum. No need to add one more.

they can give us only the snake head and the ring with a next snakemen like kobra khan !
only 1 head and one ring for $30 is only a ''taken for the ass''
they must add a second head, a different paint of the armor and the gun for make a great figure!
we are gonna pay $30 only for an extra head !!!
sick and tired of this !!!
