Maybe they ordered something on-line for their SS and will ship it out once they receive it.

I am pretty sure you totally misunderstood what he said. I think he is saying that he purchased the gift for his recipient online and is waiting for it to arrive so he can ship it out. Let's try not to assume the worst in people

You do realize he is most likely meaning that he ordered something online and is waiting for it to arrive before he ships it out

Yeah to clarify.

If I wanted to get my person some stuff they really wanted, I needed to order it online since its hard to find locally.
So I gotta wait for that stuff to be sent to me and then I will send my stuff out.

So yeah sorry for the confusing post. I would never wait till I got my stuff before I send. In fact I am not sitting here expecting to get something in return, I don't really care. A couple years I didn't get anything from bad santas.

It's mostly just fun n a challenge to find stuff for people that they want especially since I don't have anyone else much to shop for on Christmas.

My recipients gift has reached it's destination country and now in International Customs being processed Should reach my recipient in the next day or two. Hope there are no problems in customs because I had to spend $36.05 just on shipping

WOW that's harsh! It's bad when folks are paying shipping likely to be as high, if not higher than the gift value

Shipping was 2x the cost of what the gift was supposed to be since we were supposed to send at least a $10-$20 gift. HOWEVER, I just couldn't handle the thought of spending more on shipping than on the gift so I ended up spending about $80 on the gift Which I thoroughly enjoyed shopping for, so it was no problem at all.

Next year however, I hope they change it to where someone in the US buys for someone in the US, someone in the UK buys for someone in the UK, etc. Or maybe that did happen this year and I just ended up being odd man out, which is also ok. Just thoughts to make SS better in the future.
