What if it's a Prince Adam transform to He-man Set? The overall figure wouldn't have to be touched and the accessories who be plenty???

Yeah to echo BDukes reasonings, I highly doubt Mattel will figuratively "give away" the Filmation He-Man variant a large amount of the fan base needs as they can totally count that as a license to print money later on. I'd sort of laugh if the rumored set has a regular He-Man face but with the bowl cut from Filmation- total trollolol move!

You'd have to then ask though what this offers most fans realistically speaking that already have Adam and He-Man? A new swivel wrist? New deco for Adam? I can only think that perhaps they'd re-use Cringer, the Goddess weapon bundle, and a new power sword but even then it would be EXTREMELY underwhelming.

    Expectations raising high

I hope, TG didn't decides something, that turns out lame and boring. After seeing, how un-iconic the 3 th anniversary line is, I'm not too sure, they'll create something amazing for the SDCC Exclusive. And highest piece count doesn't have to mean something good

How about this: A He-Man 'Evolutions Set' containing a Filmation-Style He-man and a NA Version along with maybe with the Guerrero Sculpt? (Don't mind me I'm just throwing them out there...)

Right, but I'm just chucking ideas out there... See my next one!!!

Didn't TG say in his most recent Gooble appearance or somewhere else that this year's exclusive would be similar to last year's Marlena exclusive? That is, different packouts of the same exact pieces to make the same exact figure, with perhaps two different biographies.

I think the NA wouldn't work in a set where it was just one body with different heads and armor. The NA look is too different, it would need a complete different lower body to work. I also wonder how likey we would be to get the Filmation version at this point, but it would make sense in a set like that.
Want to Buy: MOTUC Man-At-Arms Mustached Head good paint/straight helmet. Thanks!

I reckon we might see a 200x, filmation Evil-Lyn. With interchangeable parts. Sure Toyguru said wed see her sooner rather than later and that see would appear when we least expect it....

It's going to be something that celebrates the 30th anniversary... so something from the beginning of the line or he-man/skeletor related... its not gonna be a 200x Evil Lyn or Modulok for anything like that.

Apparently no one listens to me...

Though, I know there has been some proactive effort on the part of certain managers to muck-up the rumor mill...

So, watch, it will be a He-Man dress-up set with glow in the dark power sword...

BCRDUKE, I thought I read somewhere you said there might be a possibility of ...

another SDCC exclusive, that was filmation Hordak with removable arm cannons, and various IMP figures. I think you might have said it was put on hold, due to requiring too much tooling.....

Can you confirm there will only be one SDCC exclusive, or is it still possible there might be two?

there will be two exclusives in my opinion. one with all the little friendly carachters missing and the proper one that will be an exclusive really similar to the the ones that came out in the past editions. so a figure that is in the motu universe but never appears on filmation, myp or as a toy...so probably darius, eldor or ooo-lar. I think its quite impossible to see ram man, modulok or madame razz because they will produce'em in the normal line in the next two years so let's thinksomething more close to the he-ro figure.
mt two cents on the subject.

if I have to dream I hope for unreleased carachters/figures I dont care about variations that could be found as normal scheduling.

It would be a good year for two exclusives, one for the 30th line and for the regular line.

I don't care that much for the number of Exclusives, but for the character selection and the kind of accessories. For the 30th anniversary I expect something iconic, even if they do something with a He-Man figure.

But this 3 prototype He-Men? They are not iconic, they maybe were the first ones, but they have no history for fans, because we learned of them since a short time. They don't stand for what we grew up with MOTU.

If Mattel would make them the Exclusive, I would be pretty dissapointed.

Brian... without saying anything... could you at least tell us any piece of the rumored accessories? Or the main colour of the exclusive? male or female or something else?

The whole "some time in April" thing is hard for me to understand, because I think they're just going to announce them on the Matty site, and that's it. I'm pretty sure that I read no AOTS announcement this year. So, in theory, they should have more control over when they're going to make said announcement this year over previous years. However, as of the last Q&A's, it was still all "some time in April".
