When I first saw the Mighty Spector, I didn't think he fit in at all. He just didn't look like a MOTU character to me. As more information became available, though, I started warming up to the idea of adding him in my collection.

The way I see it, TMS seems to fit in with the futuristic NA style, which represents an evolution in technology for Eternia. He-Man himself starts wearing spandex in space and I could believe that such new styles and gear would be introduced to Eternia upon his return (I think someone mentioned the term Neoternia a few weeks ago, which seems very appropriate now). So even though Lt Spector is only teleported into the near future, it's already starting to look different in Eternia and his new attire reflects those changes.

It also makes sense for people to start reverse-engineering the Cosmic Key after Gwildor dies. It can become a powerful weapon in the wrong hands and once an Evil Warrior gets a hold of this type of technology, the only counter to it is to have a time-travelling enforcer set history straight. Personally, I don't see TMS as the start of a Quantum Leap/Timecop era in MOTU...Just a single adventure where all Cosmic Key derivatives are gathered and destroyed. Spector could even go back to his own time after recovering the original Cosmic Key and turning it over to Teela. She can then keep it safe and hidden within Castle Grayskull, like so many relics, artifacts, and lost technology!

If not, I still like the Secret Princess Adora Discovery Expedition scenario!

since im on these forums quite a bit the only new thing in the bio was the warp in time, now as a fan of the bios this is quite hard to say....when you say keep reading the bios you should put more information in them about the character because unless we get the rest of the time agents/mild mannered john spector there is no information about how he became the mighty spector

its like: "wow ive been warped to the future everything turned out great!"
"hey you! put this on and go back to stop 'generic future villain' messing with time"
    "but why me"
    "youre loyal!"
when your world turns upside down, laugh at the people standing on their heads!
