Heretical Vintage Purist and Non-Fan Extraordinaire!
I want the ol'fat Madame Razz. Not every hero should be sexyI think it would be a great adition to the line to include a character that doesn't fit in the social parameters of femenine beauty.
I'm with Kevenn - make her Filmation accurate please. Don't jazz her up too much. No disrespect to the wonderful artists here on the Org, but I haven't seen a "new and improved" version of Razz that worked better than the original.
I've seen a slightly more attractive rendition of Madame Razz (I think it was a 200x inspired rendition) that I think could be vintage classicized and acceptable.
But I'll be just fine with her as is.
Edit: This is the one. Pretty, but still shapely. This is an idea.

i'll take sexy over non-sexy any day that goes for any POP girl
I personally hope Madame Razz is so far out down on the totem pole of the line that I don't have to think about this question for at least 3 or 4 years.

I really hope Madame Razz is done soon and VERY SOON. I always hated as a kid not having the characters that were featured in the opening sequences as a toy. I think the characters who knew the secret should have been released in the first wave of toys. It was silly to me to have characters like Razz, Cringer, Shadow Weaver and Spirit feature so heavily in the cartoon and never be made as toys.
I would be extremely happy for the next releases to be. Razz, Kowl, Mantenna, Frosta, Angella, Glimmer, Castaspella, and Spritina to round out everything that was show in the beginning of every She-Ra episode. I haven't forgotten about Ligh Hope just not sure how they could do him to make him accurate and still a desirable toy?

Top 40 Scorpia, Crita, Veena, Glimmer, Madame Razz, Sea Hawk, Imp, Angella, Entrapta, Mermista, Peekablue, Mara, Two Bad, Flogg, Sagitar, Extendar, Lord Dactys, Hydron, Modulok, Darius, Prahvus, Evil Seed, Master Sebrian, Flutterina, Tuskador, Quakke, Perfuma, Spinnerella, Kowl, Sweet Bee, Granita, Lizard Man, Strong Arm, Dragstor, Tung Lashor, Ssqueeze, King Miro, Gwildor, Loo-Kee, Double Trouble
Oh for Pete's sake. NO, she shouldn't look "sexy." That would totally suck, IMO. Madame Razz should look like she did in the cartoon. That custom is cool, but it isn't how Madame Razz should be depicted in an official release.
This might be cool variant for them to make later on. Perhaps this is how she looked back when she was dating Frit.
Not a figure i'd want to see for a while though, and certainly not before we get the regular Filmation Madame Razz.
Wait, Filmation Madame Razz wasn't sexy?!?
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.
I'm in no hurry to get this character or her broom. I hope the 4H can work their magic and make her a cool fig that I would want. I don't doubt their skills, they made my friend who HATES Super Friends want most of them in DCUC, so any thing is possible. Now I am all for Kowl, Loo Kee and the other Trollans.
Gaping holes in my collection: Regular old Teela, Weapons pack 1, Power & Honour book 1, SDCC artbook (maybe)
Yeah, hypersexualizing every female character in DCnU didn't have any negative backlash at all.
There's room in MOTUC for wizards, robots and spacemen, but not women who aren't sex toys? Why not just have sexy versions of Dre'elle and the Widgets too?
Filmation for me please.
My gut feeling (or how I assume the Matty board will see it) is; if she needs a new buck to look old, she just won't get made...period. Come to think about it, I can only see her comming out of that MOTUC machine with the same buck as Adora or Marlena.
The Filmation cartoon is only one interpritation of Madam Razz, its time for the 4HM to give her a new one.
I think we got char like Orko and Cringer closer to thier Filmation counterparts because they were small and easy to make.
Mattel Inc. taken subscribers for the ass since 2011!
YES! This please! She doesn't really need any added detail, just sculpt the detail that is already there. Add Broom (maybe 2 Brooms since articulating him will be difficult 1. Broom standing 2. Broom in flying pose with arms out for Razz to hold them and a clear flying stand.) The set will be epic!!!
Filmation for me. Thank you.![]()
I've always liked Madame Razz and think a Filmation design (with the usual 4-H creative license) should be released first. A "sexy" Razz could be released later in the line. Also, please remember that she wasn't merely a forgetful witch. She possessed an abundance of knowledge about pre-Horde Etheria and imparted wisdom and advice to fellow rebels on more than one occasion.
the sexy look is cool, but i would not want that for the official motuc figure.
i would like her how she was in filmation but not as cartoony.
I hope whenever they do Madame Razz, she's an exclusive so I don't have to get her in a subscription. HATE that character. That said, I realize she's essential enough that they'll have to make her at some point.
I kind of find it disturbing that someone would want a "sexy" Madam Razz. It's a cartoon character...a plastic toy...what do you mean, sexy....???
On a side note, I personally don't want her at all. But, that's just me.
I don't want a sexy Razz or a straight Filmation Razz. I'd like a more detailed rendition of the Filmation design with extra attention to the face and the eyes.
While that's a nice custom and illustration, I'd prefer a filmation based Razz. I think they would need to make her face somewhat less cartoony and a bit more realistic to fit in with the rest of the MOTUC figures better, but not such a radical change as suggested by the custom.
