Thanks guys, Faker's looking pretty good if I do say so myself, he won't have the control panel but I can live with that. He-man was originally Batman and as for the Aquaman base it was a no brainer as far as I was concerend

Yet more MOTU and this time it's the evil robot Faker, created by Skeletor to finally rid himself of the muscle bound moron He-man. I was originally working on this one alongside Heman V3 but I had to do some extra sculpting on he-man to fill in a few gaps and whilst he was drying Faker here raced ahead and became the sole project. So yeah V3 is on the way but for now here's the recipe for Faker.

Recipe:
Head = 200x Jungle strike He-Man - dremmel to fit and sanded off headband.

Hair = 200x Heman

Torso, arms and hands = DCUC Aquaman - cracked torso to paint and shield shoulders, ab crunch etc.

Chest Armour = 200x Skeletor.

Bracelets = 200x Jungle strike He-man.

Loin cloth = 200x Jungle strike He-man.

Upper legs = DCUC Aquaman - cracked open, then sanded off the factory paint to eliminate paint rub, reassembled then sculpt in cracks.

Lower legs and feet = DCUC Dr.Midnite - sculpted fur and foot bindings.

Shield = 200x He-man.

Sword = Marvel legends Loki I believe.

Painted with Citadel and vallejo paints and sealed with superglue and citadel satin.

He-man V3 will be next (sorry to bore y'all with he-man) then onto the rest of the WIP graveyard which includes Man-E Faces, Teela, Beastman and someone else secret. Hope you enjoy and thanks for the looking.

Great work on Faker. He was my only classic MOTU figure as I kid so I have a soft spot for him.

Thanks for all the kind words people, I really enjoy working on these guys and it's great to see people appreciate my efforts so much.

Here's a couple of updates on my current projects

Here's an update on He-man V3, not much left to do, just need to sculpt his boot cuffs then off to the merry land of paint to finish his extremities. The torso is already done hence the cling film to protect it.

Now I know a couple of you want to see some more females from me, so here we go with the first, been gathering dust on my WIP shelf for some time now and I finally found a pair of arms I think will work.

Anyhoo, without further ado, here's my latest, made as a replacement to the one now residing at bob's mansion.

Hey all, back again with yet another He-man. I promise this will be my final standard version of He-man (might do a concept or two down the road, you never know). So I did really like my V2 but the problem was he just wasn't to scale with all my other DCUC / MOTU customs so V3 was necessary. Anyhoo, here's the recipe.

Recipe:
Base = DCUC Batman - cracked torso and upper legs and sanded down to prevent paint rub, painted all these areas then glue shielded them. Also sanded down the shoulder discs, painted and shielded then reassembled. Sculpted in the gap left by removing the cloak.

Head = 200x He-man - dremmel to fit.

Lower Arms and hands = DCUC Killer Moth.

Bracelets = 200x He-man - dremmeled hollow then slid onto killer moth arms.

Loin Cloth = 200x He-man

Lower legs and feet = DCUC Dr.Midnite - sculpted bindings and fur at the tops.

Weapons = 200x He-man

Painted with Citadel paints and sealed with Loctite brush on superglue and citadel satin Purity seal.

Being as this is another He-man I decided to throw in a group shot of my Masters to date just so you can see how the project is coming along. Hope you enjoy my final He-man offering but fear not still loads more MOTU coming up. Next up is Teela.

Thanks mate, I thought a group shot was needed if only to get my bearings. Think it's about half of the masters done, just Teela, Fisto, Buzz-off, Syclone, sorceress and clamp champ to go. Maybe Moss man too. Still feel I forgot someone??

motuc stratos: any tips about how to do it without damaging
the wings attachment? thanks

Haha, yeah he does kinda look a bit manic. I tried to counteract the elven eyes of the 200x sculpt with paint, not 100% happy with them but they'll do.

As for the hawkman, I am not sure of the anatomy of the wings as I've never had the figure but if you wanna send me some pics I'll have a look and see if I can help you out.

Man I't been soooooo long since I had something to post in this thread. It had slipped all the way down to page 8!!? I've been busy with a few other projects mostly Thundercats which you may have seen in the other custom creations section of this forum. I've also been working on a few contest entries for figure realm. Anyhoo, I did this one for a contest thought it would be pretty fun, sadly he didn't fair too well, loads of awesome entries so without further ado here's his story

The Joker awoke to find he wasn’t in Gotham anymore, he had no idea where he was or how he got there. Could this be another of my waking dreams he thought to himself. As he moved to get up and have a look around he noticed something strange. He was naked, he had heard before that trans dimensional travel often results in loss of clothing. Unphased he picked himself up and set about exploring the strange new land he found himself in.
He soon found his old trusty suit would not have served him well at all in this land of barbarians and wizards so he did not miss it. Instead he fashioned himself a new suit, one that would serve his needs much better.
After a while he started to realize this was not a dream and this was the new reality he found himself in. The constant battle that seemed to rage between good and evil presented The Joker with a unique opportunity. While He-man and the Masters were battling Skeletor, his evil warriors and Hordak and his Henchmen there was no-one watching over the underbelly of Eternia. Also strangely there was very little crime. This, The Joker planned to change.
He is now known throughout Eternia as Jo-Ker The Clown prince of Eternia and rules the underworld with an iron fist and slightly deranged manner. He knows that most of the time the enforcers of Eternia are often far too busy to bother him but when they do he’s always ready for the fight. He is proficient in the use of laser guns but his real favourites are his trusty blades, Harley, Beth, The twins and Silvia.

Recipe:
Base = DCUC Mercury
Head = DCD Hush Joker
Underarmour / vest = Vintage MOTU Grizzlor
Spiked Shoulders = TMNT Super Shredder
Mouth on armour = Sculpted around a piece of DCUC Mercury’s chest piece
Flower = old piece of jewellery and sculpted stem and leaves
Arm Guards = LOTR Aragorn
Hands = DCUC Vigilante
Loin Cloth = 200x Skeletor, sculpted joker face on the belt
Right hand knife and sheath (Harley) = LOTR Elf
Other Knives = Beth-Marvel select Electra, Silvia-KillBill GoGo, The twins – 200AD Durham red
Knife pocket on left = Robin Hood
Boots = XMC Wolverine, sculpted fur
Gun = 200x Kobra Kahn, removed fins, shortened back end and filled gaps

Still working on a fair few more, here's a sneak peak at my current project
