4. If the Wind Raider is deemed successful in terms of sales so that a second vehicle will be released in 2012, when will we be told you will move forward on a release date?

Regardless of how the Windraider does, there will not be a vehicle in 2012. We are putting our resources for fall 2012 into Granamyr. We may return to a vehicle in 2013, that has not been confirmed at this time.

Very sad. Kind of thinking that one of the $40 beasts will be Stridor/Night Stalker or Mantasaur and those are both vehicles to me so it may not be a total loss in my head.

No battle ram for 2012 is a bummer but good for my wallet.

Damn, me sads that no vehicle there be. Wanted to see that Battle Ram (and even separate Sky Sleds)... if the 2013 vehicle is Roton, I'll be even sadder. Never liked that vehicle.

Honestly? I could care less about Granymyr, I'd really rather have a classic vehicle, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

5.) Damien asks: Vikor is a great figure – I feel one of the most awesome figures in a line of awesome figures. But fans were not demanding a Vikor figure. At all. No one ever asked for one. Yet Mattel made it (and we thank you!). The same could be said for Carnivus and most NA characters. With that in mind; can we get some kind of explanation as to why a figure no one ever asked for has no problem being thrown into the line — but when another character that fans are actually asking for comes up, we’re told there isn’t enough demand (Illumina, for instance).

Vikor is a concept design based on the most recognizable character in the entire MOTU word – He-Man (same goes for Demo-Man being a concept design for Skeletor, also one of the most popular figures in the line). That was a big reason why we wanted to do these figures. A great way to add new-ness to our main hero and villain in a unique way. It was also, as you stated, a fun way of doing something few were expecting and keep the line fresh and exciting!

I'll translate:

Yeah, I REALLY wish they would have done that!!! I was totally counting on getting that spectacular Battle Ram next year and am TRULY bummed out right now.

Yeah, the dragon is gonna be great, but Battle Ram was BY FAR the item (figure, beast or otherwise) I was most anticipating the reveal of.

Perhaps either the budget has been cut a bit, or not increased enough (hence the trend towards less items and REPAINTS... SNAKE MAA

Something like the Battle Ram would be an awesome SDCC Exclusive option. It's not a figure, but it's also an iconic Item. It's likely not going to be a Con exclusive, but that would have been cool...

Then again, maybe they WILL offer a vehicle in 2012, and they are just saying no right now so that more people might buy the Wind Raider... it's psychological retail terrorism LOL. "Oh, no, this might be the last vehicle for a LONNNNNGGG time.. you better buy that Wind Raider or that's IT!!"
