Kobolds as an army builder two pack

Since Lodar has now been trademarked by Mattel we can assume we'll get him eventually so how about throwing in some Kobolds too?!
What would Lodar be without his soldiers huh? He is not a lackey of Skeletor.
He is a stand alone villian with his own army.

So ( to me at least) Kobolds are a most. Who wants 'em too?

I wonder why the MOTU Kobolds don't look like doglike humanoids?
That's how they are suppose to look to be called Kobolds.

I would mostly prefer the Kobolds to look like this because that's how I know them the best

But I guess this looks a bit more menacing! lol

Anyway, Kobolds are really, really cool as army builders!!!
    So count me in!

I'll probably buy multiples of Lodar, but i dont know about kobolds.
I'd buy them, mind you, but i think they'd need far too much effort to be made.
They even have a tail...and you cant reuse whiplash one, too different.

Kobolds or "Knockers" are subterranean spirits in German folklore. They were said to inhabit mine and communicate through knocking which could be heard by humans. Sometimes a generous kobold could choose to share a previously undiscovered vein of ore with a miner, or even warn them of danger. But other times they would be used to explain why miners went astray and died.

The depiction of kobolds as small dog-like creatures comes from Gary Gygax's adaption of them as D&D monsters in the mid-1970's.

I'd be up for some Targa kobolds - or even the demons from the Tri-Klops mini-comics, they look so similar. These would be excellent choices for random evil beings to fill out a battle scene.

I wonder if Tuvrah is a kobold?

Heck, i just re-read it and...i have to rectify: kibolds DONT have tails. This makes them entirely possible as army builders so yup, bring them on!

No thanks. I'm starting to get really burned out on all the prototype/concept/never-before-done figures. There are more than enough existing characters that still need to be redone. Why waist time with unknowns that could potentially not perform as well? I'd hate to see the line die early because of too many of these types of figures.

I'm interested, I find this line alot more appealing when we get never before stuff over something with 3-5 releases already. It would be interesting to see 4H take on it as kobolds I as well picture more dog like. Years of EQ1 they are ingrained in my head a certain way.

Yes I want them, but they're probably 4 years away at least. Toyguru will not get out of SDCC in one piece if Horde Troopers are not the 2-pack for 2011. After that we'll probably see the Arachna Warriors, and eventually we must see Snake Men. Actually, if they can get away with one Kobold figure that we can buy twice, I'd be fine with that.

I love monsters and the like, so yes I would want them. Fitting them in right now is the tricky part though, since we still need Man E Faces, Ram Man, Tung Lashor, Spikor, Two-Bad and ect.

I'd buy one set of Kobolds.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Not a bad idea for further down the road but I'd want at least Horde Troopers and SnakeMen first.

I'd buy one set. I didn't realize how many characters that can be toys for motuc that were never toys before.

That's a big pass for me. I have 0 interest in those hugely insignificant henchmen.

I think the horsemen could turn them into some very cool figures. Sadly, with the line ending in 2015, these are another in a long list of figures we will likely not see.

yeah, these look cool. The custom versions that were designed by fellow .Orger were beautiful and if I had the bucks to spare and the dough I'd get 'em.

That being said, I can live without them. They are very cool and If they happened in an official capacity I would certainly get them.

I could pass on those ... don't get me wrong, if they were in the sub I would keep them, but I won't be sad if they never show up either.
