It's the backwards shoulder thing AGAIN, but with Swiftwind's front legs!

I bought two Swift Winds and so did my friend, and ALL FOUR have two right front legs from the knee down! With four out of four, I have to assume they're all like this.

It's VERY easy to spot. Look at both front legs and you'll see they both have the same squiggly vein on the same side, and both feet have the exact same crack pattern in the bottom of the hoof.

Un-freaking-believable.

HOW HOW HOW does this keep happening?

Hearing about this & the problem with the wings, I'm glad I chose to opt out of buying Swifty at the last minute.

First question is, Is there a Right leg out there? I noticed this on mine as well (doesn't create a big problem for me) but it's different than the swapped shoulders as it looks like they may have only tooled 1 leg. . .or do some horses have 2 rights and some 2 lefts?

I haven't received mine yet, but is it possible that this is how the toy was designed to begin with? Does it look weird, like does it appear that Swifty has two left legs? Or, is it possible that they just used the same tooling for both legs?

I wondered that too, but both back legs and hooves are different, and yes, the joints look a little off kilter...that's how I discovered it.

i guess i got lucky mine looks ok with the legs.

i can say there are 2 different front legs and hooves mine has them

i would call Matty about it

Not on mine. There is a left and a right. They are clearly different from the knee down. Sorry to hear about the mistakes on yours.

Same happened with my Panthor. Got a refund but no replacement as mattel were out of stock so they said.

It's time for a mass mailing to "Upper Management."

I'm tired of Mr.Snarky focusing on stuff like Spector, and using him to rewrite MOTU history (oh just you all WAIT) when he should be focusing on things like QUALITY CONTROL (the slightly warped right leg on Swift Wind was present on ALL of the samples shown at SDCC, Power Con, and in all video reviews... Not sure if that bend is because of incorrect parts or not, but its still ugly).

Why can't this company get it together when it's overly loyal customer base is spending a premium on its products?

Why is this STILL happening?

Why does almost every figure have some kind of quality control issue? Obviously there are going to be problems now and then, but this is ridiculous

I find it frustrating that Scott can give is a perfect Vikor figure, but not Swiftwind, or She-Ra (1.0... I mean who in the world wouldn't have noticed that the skirt was too hard???), or King Hssss, or Roboto, or original He-Man, etc etc etc.

If you can't handle the job, move on. Stop wasting my money and time and making my hobby stressful.

CORRECTION there are two right legs...what I thought was an "L" turned out to be a 1...there is an "R" stamped just inside the knee joint on both legs.

Called Matty...someone is supposed to call me back in 24-48 hrs.

I wouldn't count on that call. They keep telling me that too. I'm on call 4 today for an issue from October 25th.

I just got my parcel.

The first Swiftwind I opened has the two left legs, but that doesn't bother me as much as the fact that I can't get the left wing on. Dunno if I'm doing something wrong.

Hella mad right now.

I have zero problems with my swift wind, dont think this is a across the board problem.

Its not like Hsss where it was wrong from the beginning.

No way Scott can QC every single figure.

With the stuff we mass produce overseas, we sign off on the "golden" samples and then when a shipment comes in we spot check them. We still have QC problems b/c when you are dealing with 1000s of parts you cant put your hand on every piece.

If that's the case here, then it's more a design thing (Terry), and pieces need to be made to only fit into the correct sockets.

I know they did that with Hssss, and it turned out incorrectly, but that wasn't factory quality control, that WAS Scott and Terry missing the shoulder problem.

It is just really sad that there are problems so often. I think what really makes them worse is how Mattel deals with our reaction to their errors.
