I would guess that it would push too far into the legality realm since they are based on MOTU characters. Spy Monkey weapons are simply weapons. Cool weapons, but just weapons.

Most likely yeah. I don't know how aggressive they (Mattel) are against this sort of thing. I've never heard about anybody being affected by it. I wish big businesses wouldn't cut off guys like this because of copyright. They are basically providing a service that the original company can't - AND if you think about it, you have to have bodies to put those heads on, so in a way he is helping the sales - especially if he has some great ideas of his own.
Anyhoo not anything worth a debate just my 2 cents on the whole thing.

Anyways I managed to get a hold of him and gave him a pretty big order - Come March sometime I will get to see these beauties in real life. That and my spymonkey connect-weapons just arrived, picking them up tomorrow or friday

Couldn't be happier.

Oh and PS, Kevin is a pretty fast replier and a courteous guy as well, just like everybody else said.

I'm almost tempted to give Mattel the heads up just to see if they have the cojones to try and stop him in Germany lol....No I understand that there is a legal issue at hand but come on- the guy is a passionate fan who makes some..."fan sculptures" on the side...yeahh lets go with that lol.

I got all of his custom heads, took about a month of painting and there was some hiccups on the way, but he is a fantastic guy and kept me up to date every step of the way. And again for the price that he is offering, it's a steal.

Great custom heads!! It would be great if they were sold in more quantities like Slayer Design Studios or Broken Arrow Toys do G.I. Joe heads and torsos..Is he (Kevin Kosse) still making them for sale? Roboto, Hordak and Clawful are amazing!

He is still making them and he sells them in any quantity you want. You can also ask for unpainted ones if you want to paint them yourselves, but to be honest he does such an amazing job on the paintjobs that they seem production quality.

I've gotten like 6 heads from him, they are not cheap but still amazing.

200X fans have to get his clawful and ponytail maa head!

I just received a Clawful head from Kevin and it's beautiful! Of course now I need to pick up a loose Clawful to put it on as the one I have is still sealed,lol.

I just received a Filmation Skeletor head and Tytus hammer from Kevin and they are amazing! This guy is unbelievably talented!

Haven't decided whether to put the Skeletor head on a Skeletor body or on a Keldor body. Keldor has the right feet, but Skeletor's body is the right shade of blue. Hmm...
