Greetings!

I am going to kick this off. UPDATE: I STILL am in need of a TOD Sorceress 8/24/12. Can some help me out? Please?

This is THE thread for those who can't make it to any of the Conventions to pick up this SWA-WEET figure, but who A) Dont want to wait a YEAR for her, and B) Don't want to get taken up the tail-pipe by EVIL-BAY prices.

So if you are
A) In need of this figure and are willing to pay costs for one (plus shipping)
or
B) Are one very COOL Orger that is going to a convention, and are so willing, in all your very coolness, to help out a mate to get this bodacious figure for their own...
Then this is the thread for you.

I unfortunately am not able to go to any of the conventions.
Is there someone out there who can help me out?

I just want ONE figure.
I can pay UPFRONT if need be
AND... I can pay a little extra for your time if need be.

Understandable. BUT... My thoughts are this... they are going anyway... paying for entry/hotel/travel ect regardless of whether they get an extra figure.
Now, that said... I dont really know how it works. But assuming you dont have to stand in line more than once to get an extra figure... Im just wondering if there are those that would help out a fellow MOTUC fan by picking up one extra while they are in line for their own.
I know I'd be happy to if I were going.

But that said, I absolutely understand wanting to make a few bucks as well. So if a buyer doesnt mind paying a bit extra, then they can state so, and or buy one on evilbay. Or if a person going wants to make a few extra bucks, they can also state so here.
But I know that there are those out there willing to do it for no extra costs as well.

Just to help out fellow MOTUC fans.

So this will be the connection thread for all. Extra fee or no.

but don't forget cost plus shipping is a little hard to figure out because orgers that are going to these conventions have to pay for entry/hotel/travel just to get these figures so i don't think too many folks will give you cost plus shipping.

but by all means.. i would also be interested in getting one as i won't be at a convention this year!!!

Do we know what cons they'll be sold at next year?

I know there is a con of some sort in Dallas every year, but I don't know if she'll be sold there. If she is, I'm willing to buy extra for people here.

If not, then count me as one of those who would like to get her.

i'll take spot #4 in line as i'm still not sure if i'll be able to attend any of the cons that she will be available at.

from what i've heard she will be @ Dragoncon 2012 & Powercon 2012, not @ SDCC 2012 (Why not i'm not entirely sure?)

assuming she will be offered @ C2E2 2012 & NYCC 2012 (run by the same people) and possibly any of the wizard cons???

entry/hotel/travel shouldn't be an issue should it? It's not like we're asking people to specifically book a trip and travel to a con that they weren't planning on going to in the first place.

If it's cost plus shipping, count me in. If not, I'll wait until December.

cus they described her as an incentive for "regional" conventions. Basically she's something they can take and sell at cons that won't be getting their own exclusives like SDCC does.

I whole heartedly agree. Location, availability & final pricing would clear up a lot of things.

That being said, I would definitely be interested in purchasing 2 or 3 Temple Of Darkness Sorceress Figures and would be willing to pay a bit more if needed.

if its gonna be at the nycc ill go and hook up what i can. so if anyone can confirm shell be at nycc 2012 let me know right away. maybe everyone could chip in for a ticket id only go for the toy. id rather stay home and read the pannel online in the comfort of my home.
but well figure it out as it comes closer.

I'm planning to go to WonderCon and I'm hoping it is available there. I know Matty was there last year so I figure the odds are good. We are also tenatively discussing NYCC but I'm not so sure about that yet. If I got extra, it would be mostly for trades since I didn't get a subscription this year. I'd be more than happy to trade one for a Shadow Weaver if at all possible.

I see your point my friend, 2011 SDCC i was able to snag 3 extra exclusives and send at cost because i was going, but some times people will ask for specific things etc.. and if that person has to wait in line all day, time is money my friend

but i agree if someone can hook ya up for cost plus shipping then great, but i'm saying don't expect it most people want to make a little on top

When someone here was able to get me the molar and orko from the sdcc a few years ago my deal was if you get me one I'll get you one. Look they have to wait in line and drag this stuff all over. and then drag it home with them and then box it and ship it. It's a lot of work. People are nice but whe you really think how much work it is to actually go and just get a figure for someone. Just think and understand what they actually ha e o do to get the figure.

If they have them at nycc I will go but lets make a deal. I don't wanna get rich. But make it worth my while. And if they don't have them at nycc then you bet I'll being making a deal with someone who can get it for me.
