I was just trying to put into perspective why some pop fans might be itching for some of those characters.

It boggles my mind that the lineup hasn't been a tiny bit more diversified across the board. Between 2011 and 2012, there are a LOT of great vintage MOTU characters, and I'm happy to get them, but I'm not sure why they haven't been spaced out a but differently.

I would imagine it was to entice sub sales? You look and you see Sorceress, Fisto, Stinkor, Kobra Khan, and Shadow Weaver and those are very popular characters and they all look fantastic. And then you still had the 3 Star Sisters which should have excited most of the POP fans (along with SW). And a couple others Thunder Punch He-Man and Snake Man At Arms, that might not be as exciting

I really am starting to think they hold back Horde Troopers till the beginning of 2013, and then Ram Man which could be the exclusive or just a draw for the sub next year.

i LOVE that Fisto can go from 80's to 2000x *hope we see lots of that* but i was wondering is there hope that Jitso can do that to? his 2000x belt, long hair and sword are so cool looking

Awesome news!! I really enjoy the Weapons Paks they are a great way to spice up teh lien. I wonder what they're gonna have in the next one?

That 2012 weapons pack had better have repainted 200x Keldor swords in it Toyguru.

I know you guys are finally correcting your screw up by releasing them with a figure, but that only gets me one pair of Keldor swords.

I have a couple Keldors and Skeletors, all of whom need 200x swords.

Include them in the weapon pack.

While we're at it, a magenta Havoc Staff. The one that came with the Faceless One sort of counts, but I want it to be fully magenta.

Interesting response on the Shadow Weaver / Leech bio question. Either the Leech bio was written before Filmation rights and they were referring to Shadow Weaver or Hordak has multiple witches in service to him. I wonder if one of these witches are the ones seen in the 200x cartoon or another witch altogether?

i'm hopping there are no plans for "Adam" yet but the body will still come out soon we really need it for some of the cast of She-Ra

So sub holders will be able to buy the non-sub items before they go on sale? They better only be able to buy one per sub or else it will be a **** show when they sell out before they go on sale....

I'm curious about the hint in BG Evil-Lyn's bio.

I'm thinking that Spector is EL and Keldor's son, and he is going to be used in the mini-comics and bios as a Watcher or DV crisis type character. His key allows him to jump through time and revise things.

It will be the way discrepancies are explained

While I'm not cool with Evil-Lyn having a son (I just don't think people with world conquest on their minds would be concerned with having a family), he might be. But even if he's not the son they had to figure out SOME way to account for all the discrepancies, right? I mean, regardless of how one feels about the bios it must be admitted that trying to reconcile all the different canons was a pretty bold undertaking, and I don't know if it could have been done with out some kind of time travel type plot device. In an odd way it's almost what makes the MOST sense.

2012 Sub. Holders - Will We have first picks of Items ouside of sub?

Since production numbers are going down to subscription numbers for next year, does this mean that items outside of the subscription will have fewer production numbers as well?

If yes, can subscription holders (since we're the one's keeping the line alive as you stated) have first picks of items ouside of the sub. (Ex: We can buy items days before actual sale)?

This would be a great incentive to join for 2013.

It is something we are actively working on but won't be a feature we'll have ready for Jan. Hopefully it is something we can execute later in 2012. Still working on this. But it is something we want to do.

Seriously, I know why. And this seems to be a logical next step from Mattel's point of view (since they are relying on subscripions). Well, the happy news is that it won't be in place in January when the Sorceress comes on sale. That's a relief from my no-good cherry-picker point of view!

If they want to do this plan of allowing sub holders priority, than their should be a limit. I can see justification for buying, say, 2 extra Stinkors if a collector wants to display both heads AND have one MOC. I don't know how someone could justify buying 20 Stinkors beyond "I'm gonna makes me some money".

The other option of course is to release the whole damn lineup. Just names, I don't need to see pictures. I also understand that things could shift, but we are getting that now with figures who ARE announced and we have seen pictures shifting months.

I don't like to gamble, I really don't. Asking me to commit to several hundred dollars when I don't know what I will be buying is going to get an answer of no. Of what is announced so far, Sorceress, Stinkor, Kobra Khan, the Griffon and Horde Prime (at the time the subs were offered I don't think Horde Prime had been announced) are definate purchases. Some like Fisto or Slushhead are neat and if I had subbed I wouldn't mind them. The rest I really do not have interest in. So the rest of the year could fall into one of those 3 categories.

I think that there are enough benefits to subscribing now. You are guarenteed the figures, you get them faster, and you get them cheaper. Plus the majority who subscribe have a preference towards buying everything in the line. I don't mind any of those, but I do mind not even having the chance to purchase figures at the "bargain" price of $28-$30 if sub holders are given the chance to act as retailers.

Yes, It is very obvious that they want to push subs on everyone but I can understand why. As much as I hate the subs, It's all to avoid over production. Instead of Matty being stuck with extras, We get stuck with them (meaning the figures that we don't particularly want). I reluctantly got the sub because I want to make sure I get the figures I desire without taking my chances on the "day of" sale. Any figures in the sub that I don't want, I'll try and sell. However, I will be upset If I miss out on non-sub figures on "day of". It's not a perfect system.

After 4 years? Out of the 60 remaining toyline figures, the majority of them are NA and POP by 32, with the other 28 are remaining vintage characters.

Leon from Double Edged Sword could use that as well.

I don't get the red Captain Glen tunic question. Even if the pants are smaller than Adoras, hers isn't removable is it?
