This is the first in a series of polls I'm going to be running on The New Adventures in MOTUC.

Which colour scheme do you want Nocturna to have in MOTUC?

Personally Nocturna is my least favourite Galactic Guardian and its mainly to do with his colour scheme. I just think the blue and purple camouflage looks terrible, I much prefer the full purple outfit that he had in the concept art, UK/German comics and some other media.

So which version of Nocturna do you want in MOTUC,

Its interesting to note that in the UK/German comics Nocturna had some psychic powers such as telepathy and mind control. The annual bio above also mentions his immense powers of concentration, where as the figure bio doesn't mention these powers at all.

Also what colour hair do you want Nocturna to have?
Black like the figure or blonde like the cartoon? I prefer black.
Does anybody know if I can edit the poll to add the hair colour options as well?

He could have colour changing abilities, which fits in nicely with his bio and camaflague concept.

He could be painted with paint that changes from blue to purple in heat, and therefore could have both colour schemes (blue+purple->all purple)

This also adds a extra exciting feature to the potential MOTUC figure, which, let's be honest, would be a bit bland without it!

(Also, in the UK /German comics, I got the feeling that the writers got him mixed up with Vizar (he had telepathic powers, yes?), and so the artist just drew Nocturna due to this mix-up.)

The best part of the outfit is the camouflage. Im with the color-changing feature. I prefer he uses a dark blue outfit for "stealth" purposes.

The UK comics did get their names mixed up, (they called Nocturna, Vizar, and Vizar, Nocturna) but I'm not sure if they got their powers mixed up or not.
Nocturna was a master of stealth, martial arts and immense powers of concentration.
Vizar was a master of deception, illusion, disguise, and his helmet is a clocking device.
So their powers aren't that dissimilar and Nocturna's vintage figure bio also says they work together, which I think also adds to the confusion between these to characters. But it's the line "immense powers of concentration" in the annual bio for Nocturna that makes me think he is the one with mind powers, plus I think its a bit of a reference to his Eastern influence.

I voted for Blue and Purple camo (toy/cartoon), and I'd prefer the darker hair.

The color change idea is pretty cool, though.

I wanted to vote in this poll. I vote in all of them.

But I just dont care. He's booring and he sucks.

I can say I always thought it was a funny mistake because I felt in the opening of the show they coloured all teh guardians like they were Caucasian. I'm certain they'd just say it's a mistake, but I'll bet they didnt know or care that they were different races. Like Vizar.

So for what it's worth I'd want him obviously asian, black hair. His outfit? Heck with it, while typing this I decided that I'd go for the stupid camo, at least it's more visually interesting.

Exactly, thats my main beef with this guy. He's meant to be a master of stealth but has this bright blue outfit

Even though it's not the same type of outfit, the solid purple one is making me think...Spector. Blue and purple camouflage and black hair.

I had voted blue and purple. If Lookee can hide/blend in with trees, there is no reason Nocturna should not be able to as well.

Eh, this one I voted toy colors. I like the black helmet and hair, but otherwise... ??? Is he going to be the first MOTUC figure to sport the new... sweater armor? Is that a turtleneck he's wearing?! I think this might be one of the ones I'm praying doesn't get released until the very tail end of the line. I'm not sure even the 4H can make this one interesting. He'll look good with Spector I guess.

I still think the name Nocturna should have been used for a PoP villainess with purple hair like the Moth Woman from Golden Girl instead of a male NA character.

But as to the question, I say go with the toy design all the way. All purple looks kind of boring and also now would resemble Mighty Spector too much. Also definitely go with the Asian features and black hair because we don't have many characters in MOTU overall who resemble that ethnicity (obviously it isn't the same ethnicity since these are all aliens--we think) and are actually good guys. I think the appearance in the cartoon is best dismissed as an error anyway.

Honestly, I like the camo, but it could stand to be a bit darker. They should give 'em some darker colors to match his name!

Is there a difference? If there is it must be quite minor - they all look the same! I'd go with toy look - ditch the blonde hair unless they are going for a complete 1985 Aquaman knock-off look.

They need to change his name - sounds more like a POP gals name.

The bio also needs quite a change - 'non-violent martial arts'???

i'm just now learning of this character...but if there going to make him, go classic! and make sure he's obviously asian...seriously, there's no asian good guys, or black villains...as it is, i'm changing jitsu to a good guy in my cannon...
