I agree, some looks nice (SE, SS, CC, Cobra & Joe troopers) but some of them look even worse than ROC (Duke & Roadblock).

Isn't actually that Zartan the one with the suit from G.I.Joe: Renegades?

I do hope that with the new movie a new cartoon series in the vein as G.I.Joe: Resolute may be released.

Lovely to see the (proper) masked Cobra Commander and Firefly. I like the toy of Cobra Commander, too. Actually looks somewhat better than the film version, although the film version still looks pretty nice. Wonder what they're going to do with his voice? Obviously no "name" is playing him if he's just masked all the way through, but they obviously want a powerful voice.

Wonder what they're going to do with his voice? Obviously no "name" is playing him if he's just masked all the way through, but they obviously want a powerful voice.

I don't know why, but I have the impression that all the "Mouse" character (Joseph Mazzello) is a red herring, and he's actually Cobra Commander. He do actually have the looks in a a sort of way from Gordon-Lewitt. IMDB has post Faran Tahir (bad guy from Iron Man) as Cobra Commander, although it is unconfirmed.

Also, Arnold Vosloo is entitled to play as Zartan. I did not (and I can't now) watch Super Bowl trailer; does he uses the action figure suit?
I still think it is the Renegades suit

To me this will be what the GI Joe movie originally was supposed to be and not that 2hr toy commercializing, nano-tech bull that first one was! And apologies to any fan of the first film, cause although I never collected it religiously I was always a fan of the Larry Hama GI Joes and I think the movie should've followed that canon.

Charlie Adler? Meh, if he has been trying to channel Chris Latta in his role as Starscream, he did a poor job. Personally, I think they should use Dr. Smoov for all Starscream and Cobra Commander roles LOL It's like Latta has come back to us through Smoov

I have to say my enthusiasm for this movie has definitely gone up. The only thing that makes me a bit unhappy is the the thought of the original team being 'removed' permanently, but what I'm seeing here - better roles for CC, Zartan, plus some of the new elements, such as Roadblock, Jinx, the Red Ninjas, makes this movie look really engaging.

Of course, it's still just at the trailer stage, but so far I'm looking forward to seeing it. Plus, I hear they're going to get back into the whole murder-of-the-Hard-Master thing, which'll be neat to see.

reactions from early test screenings indicate "fans of the Marvel story will be pleased"

then later in the same report the reviewer came right out and said:
