Glad Illumina won, but I am sad to see Strobo so far down the list. I expected to see more love for him.

Hopefully since he's little more than a repaint with a cape (in fact is he JUST a repaint with a cape?) we can still see him made.

I loves me some Strobo.

him and camo did not get high on my list for the fact that they are just repaints but i do still really want them and i think Matty will do them soon seeing as how they have all the parts for both *i bet Starbo gets randors cape*

Happy to see Illumina won this, and also happy Huntara placed second. I hope they make figures of both. Don't really care too much for Hawke and have no clue how she ranked ahead of characters like Garn, Geldor, Crimson Fury, and General Sunder.

... oh and of course Yellow Warrior, who would be the equivalent of those art prints in figure form!

I'm pleased that Illumina won, though there were others on the list I'd love to see as figures as well.

I've noticed a lot of people wanting to know why so many are so pro-Illumina. Personally, I was stoked about her design ever since I saw it in the comic. I could honestly care less about anything that has been said about her by Mattel reps. I don't just want to see her in figure form because we've been told it's not likely. I just think she's cool.

I wanted Scrollos and Strobo to be up higher too and would love figures of them. I think their relative obscurity (even though I've seen requests for Strobo for years now) and alphabetical placement near the bottom of the list had something to do with it. Still, they both scored quite a bit higher than Tug of War Dude in Yellow and Josh.

Yeah, I supposed their alphabetical placement could have been an issue here. I just always thought there was more of a demand for Strobo, so I was a bit shocked by his placement!

I'll take an Illumina, even though she wasn't my first choice.

One thing I've always wondered about her - are people so fond of her because of some inherent property in the character, or because Emiliano did such an awesome job drawing her? Because I suspect that if you let him draw or redesign just about any obscure character, it'd significantly increase fan demand for them.

Maybe someone can convince him to draw a Strobo or a Camo Khan next to drum up some support

What I mean by much, much worse is seeing countless threads about how the figure "should be made" and if it gets made "how they screwed up" and then "Where's her Cat?" threads...

And if it doesn't get made, the inevitable "Conspiracy against the site" threads...

I'd hate to see this section of the forum full of that kind of stuff...

From the looks of those pictures, I can see there will be a fight over whether Geldor is pink or brown....

His skin looks lighter in the second frame because of the light from the dissolving illusion in front of him (note the shade from the wizard on Geldor's right side). The character has the same coloring throughout the story. You can check out the rest of the mini-comic here.

Am i the only one who doesn't think Illumina needed to be voted in? Mattel knows we want her, we should have voted for someone less likely to get a figure (ie; Skelcons).

I was drawn to the character because she looks so cool & mysterious. I wanted a figure of her long before I knew who created her, and before her bio was revealed.

By the way, if you're referring to the art from the MVCreations comic, that piece was drawn by Enza Fontana, not Emiliano.
