I finally took the time to finish the model for the Staff of Avion (Filmation style - Mini Comics style will follow ). I had to do it in two pieces which can be plugged together. I'm really curious how this will work out once I have it in my hands. Never before done something like this. I think I will probably have to use some super glue to make them stay together permanently.



I went with the design from Gbagok because I personally think that this is fitting better fro stratos than the demonhead ornament the staff has in the Filmation episode:





But I'm planning to do an interchangable upper part of the Staff with the demonhead ornament, too.

So cool. I need to order a bunch of stuff from your shop. Just a quick thought I had looking at your model - Have you ever considered making the pieces stick together via a glyos style plug and socket system? I really have no idea how feasible that would be.

The idea is great but I have some issues scaling such plugs on exact sizes with 3d max. So the risk that it would not fit exactly is too high. By the way I do not have anything from the glyos line around here

That's right! I will order them next week and add them to the shop when I have them in my hands and can approve them or make changes if necessary. So I think it will take around two more weeks

No need to do a movie sword . Battle_Brak has already done an excellent job on the movie sword. There is no way I could do better.

Hey guys,

here are some new WIP pics of future custom weapons

A 200X styled mace in the proper MotUC size, because I want my Snake MAA to have a special weapon in comparison to the normal MAA. I will design this one in two connecting pieces to make the head of the mace hollow and save production costs



Next item is my own design. An axe for Fisto in the style of his 200X sword.



And finally the Staff of Avion from the mini comic "The Siege Of Avion". This one will be special because I intend to have it casted in translucent green

Yup, this staff is really a nice item but with all that detail quite difficult to make. But I think some day I will see if I can do this one and the skeletor sword from the end of themovie, too
