That 200x MAA mace looks cool, but one of these days what I've love to see is a Mark Taylor-accurate MAA mace, as seen in his design drawing here:

The ball part that separates would be its own piece with a loop, and then the main mace part itself would have another loop connector so that each person could locate and fashion their own real working chain on it.

How rad would that be?

Is there an easy way to navigate shapeways? I assume there are lots of cool items on there but because of name issues, tough to find.

Aside from the tip of the mace and the lack of the third "flair/tier" (?) Dekker's mace looks very similar...

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

At the moment I'm working on a second version of the mace with a chain directly created by shapeways. That would mean that nobody has to find a real chain that fits and attach it to the mace

Well, unfortunately shapeways does not offer orange material but you can order a painted version from me

"White, strong & flexible - polished" IMO best material for this stuff.
