Darius didn't appear in the cartoon at all. But he was included in the German Ehapa comics, where he pretty much replaced Hydron as commander of the Starship. He was featured very prominently there and kind of the leader of the Galactic Guardians as well as an inventor similar to Man-At-Arms in MotU. (Hydron instead was more of a musing and mysterious character who even had a lost daughter).Originally Posted by bcrduke
His figure even was a price in one issue, which up to this day still makes some fans believe he was produced for real back then (instead, Ehapa most likely sent the winners a different figure).
The first Ehapa NA issue also was adapted into an audio play which was released in Germany, France and some other European countries I just don't remember off-hand. In Germany, the cassette was packed along with the He-Man figure. The Ehapa comics also were reprinted in the UK magazines.
And in addition to that, Darius also was featured in the German Bastei comics (Bastei started after Ehapa ended their series).
