It kind of boggles the mind why it took Ridley Scott coming back for anyone to explore the derelict ship further on screen. It was ripe for more secrets, and yet no one was inspired to go there? I guess that's what happens when the suits are running a franchise. I don't think anything showing up in Disney World is a mark of shame, but I got a kick out of Scott pointing to that as the final straw in defanging the beast.
I still think it looks awesome! I can't WAIT to see what bursts out of the Space Jockey's chest! I can't believe they showed part of it in the one trailer!
Definitely new "monsters" in this film. I think it will end with the monsters evolving into Xenomorphs by taking over people or something and Weyland was all behind it.

Watching that video, at least in my opinion, shows that it is not the same Space Jockey ship. That planet certainly doesn't look like LV-426. I do think that it looks like its going to be a good movie however.

I am SO pumped for this movie. The new trailer is a thing of beauty. I love the scope of this film, and the design work is really excellent. Some proper grown-up sci-fi is always a nice thing to have.
That new trailer looks wicked cool! And it definitely gives a total "Alien" vibe. Was that a chest bursting scene about to happen? I'm pretty certain we'll indeed at least see the Xenomorphs in some shape or form, as others have said above.

Nope, there just isn't much to discuss that hasn't been said here or other places.
To those that want movies with xenomorphs, there are plenty of bad movies with those. I for one want a new story and to know how they came to be.
If you pay attention, there is a xenomoprh spread on a wall in the trailer as if he is crucified. Also, it appears that someone(s) are morphing after exposure to some substance into either xenomorphs or this space jockeys.
And... I saw the title of this thread and thought we were talking about this:

Me, too. I want to go in as clueless as possible. Apparently there are some pretty big things that go down in this film. I want my first taste of them to be in the cinema.
Yeah, sometimes, the internet really hurts a movie or video game. It's also why I am trying to avoid as much info on TDKR as possible.
Perhaps this is the planet the aliens originally came from. They were not native to LV-426, they were brought by the Space Jockey. (Not willingly I am sure but...)

Michael Fassbender is amazing.
I love Michael Fassbender. He is all kinds of crazy sexy, and he chooses great roles. If you want to see him naked, you can watch him in his last film, I believe its called Shame. The film itself is actually quite long, and slightly depressing. However, there is all the Michael you can stand to see, and more. So much Michael.
Personally I'm looking forward to this film, and if it is a bridge leading towards the Alien franchaise, it is one I will cross willingly. And Michael Fassbender will hold my hand... and I'm pretty sure I saw Charlize Theron in there too. She is totally awesome!

I actually JUST got done watching Shame. And it too was amazing.
I've liked what I've seen so far about this movie. I'll at least rent it.

I can't wait to see this movie, along with Avengers, The Hobbit, Brave, Dark Knight Rises, and Dark Shadows.
I also can't believe it took them 30 years to deside to tell us abot that dead alien on that space ship.
