Scrolls of Eternia is proud to present its first theme-month!

January 2012 is Sorceress Month!

Meaning that during January your host Jukka will bring you videos
that will take a look at the Guardian of Grayskull in her many aspects!

Check back to this thread, for all videos will be collected here by the end of the month!

!? Well this also makes me want to attempt to color my Sorceress pic once I'm done with my Catra piece.

And I forgot about that early concept of her, wonder now we got the Filmation rights we may see the blond-purple skin concept Sorceress? LOL!

Frankly, Jukka, I was incredibly disappointed when the otherwise tremendous Filmation DVDs short-changed the discussion of the Sorceress while talking at length about Cringer and other characters.

Your efforts feel like justice to me!!!

Thank you. I would hope you liked this theme.

And yeah the Sorceress (especially Filmation version) has many aspect that will be fun to highlight, which is precisely my plan here.

I love "the Greatest Adventures of All" for the Sorceress narrations in-between episodes. If you ask me it's one of the best ways to introduce a new fan to the show.

Your newest video was the best yet, Jukka! I've never seen that UK variation on the Sorceress before. Very strange! It was so cool to see my Power Tour scans used in your video!

Your "Power Tour" scans are the best I've seen, and they were actually the first time I was able to see all the great details with the Sorceress' costume.

Another great video, Jukka! I love this series. Now that the figure has been delayed to February, maybe you could do two months of the Sorceress...no wait... Why not dedicate 2012 to her!!!

Seriously, I never knew about the brown headdress version of her, and I was shocked to learn that the Goddess only appeared green in a single instance. So many fans have talked about the green goddess that I assumed she appeared that color in numerous stories.

I'm not sure if there's enough demand for people to see Sorceress-related videos in Feb too. But even more importantly, I might have hard time thinking up more topics to feature her in.

Yeah fans have dubbed her as "Green Goddess" from that first mini-comic "He-Man and the Powersword". Personally I was suprised to find out, that in reality; She is called THE SORCERESS there. All that Goddess-naming came later.

That's amazing! I thought He-Man called her the Goddess there rather than the Sorceress!!!

Excellent work Jukka! There's just something about her, isn't there?!

I'll always know her (and her looks) from the original series. I like the new release of her figure with the orange-red and blue design on the underside of her wings, but of coarse, her true color was ONLY orange-red on the underside with the blue and white on the top side. It's strange how no one wants to re-release true originals isn't it...

Well, at least we have the new dvd release, instead of just memories and vhs tapes, (as well as your videos) to remember her by!!

Great work!
