    I can't upload any new pics in my photo albums despite being a Gold Warrior and still having space left over alloted to me before the website updates.

    Also, I wish I could see who's in the chat room like the old site let me. I don't want to jump into any session if I don't know anybody in there.

    Plus I'd like to be able to access the chat room from the forums like I used to before if that's possible.

    Personally, I prefer white text-on-black background at a message board, as opposed to black text-on-white background.

    I don't know if there's a way to make that an option for users to use which they like, but if so, I'd like the lighter text on a darker background. If not, well, I'll just deal with it, lol.

    And wow, I'm just now noticing the BIIIIG chunk of space between the end of someone's post, and their signature or the end of their post box. Just sayin'. lol

    I agree that I like the old forums better, but I understand why the change was necessary now. The only thing I really wish, is for the colour scheme to be like the original forum. The current colour scheme is like the last update. I always stayed with the original he-man.org look with solid reds and dark blues. I found everything very clear, straight forward and easy to read. The new one is a tad hard to read (for me). The lighter colours and backgrounds blend together more, which makes it hard to separate things. *shrugs*

    This is probably a vBulletin thing, but I do not like the new, very tiny, online/offline circles.

    The new search feature sounds awesome, though! I'm REALLY happy with that improvement. I haven't used it yet, but it's what I've always wanted (so we can search she-ra and he-man now)!

    I like the old look way better. The only thing I like better now is the search feature, because now I can look up stuff like "G.I. Joe" which I couldn't before.

    My big issue is that its hard to identify what threads have new comments, the icons are way too generic and bland!
    I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

    Why has the amount of album space collapsed (and been merged with the attachments)? Most of my uploaded pictures have vanished...

    update:I've seen two different screens. a quick reply box and something along the ways it was before. I have a hard time getting to option #2. I do click on "reply to thread" button

    Workaround: Middle-click or Ctrl-click, and the "go advanced" reply page will open in a new tab. Or drag the link to the tab bar.

    Also, the "subscribe" option is still there on the thread page under "Thread Tools" in the top right.

    Also I figured I might as well include a quick mockup to show what I was talking about in regard to changing all the white. Not sure if its possible but it would make navigation a bit easier if there some red or blue behind the new forum areas

    Workaround: Bookmark the "English forums" link rather than the main page: http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...English-Forums

    Basically, the forum is made one level "taller" than the designers intended because of the English/Italian split.

    What you suggest can be done, though. The quick-and-dirty way would be to add this to the CSS:
    Code:
    .L2{background: #F2F6F8 url(images/gradients/grey-up.png) repeat-x left bottom !important}
    I'm sure there's a better way (i.e., without the !important, which you're technically not meant to do), but it ain't my job to fix it

    Thanks!
    Now, if only there was a workaround for the colour theme and weird envelope icons.

    Another thing - can we get a distinguishing background colour in the quote boxes, please? Browsing on my phone, the quotes blend into the new text in a post,

    Well, sadly I can no longer access the He-Man.org forums at work, due to the new changes. Not sure why that is, but I'm sure the security features on our work stations have something to do with it. I can read it at home just fine, but the work computer doesn't like the new format, and it all comes in gibberish.

    Anyone else in the same boat as me with He-Man.org on their work computers?

    Is there no gauge or anything to show how full our PM box is? That thing was handy.

    I don't like it that you cannot distinguish the icons particularly well (new posting, you have posted in this thread, old thread).
    I really don't like that all the colors are so light - on my monitor it seems like different shades of white here *g*

    And now, virtually every colour on the board has been (over, IMO) darkened... EXCEPT the quote box colour (i.e., the bit with Irian's post above), which remains virtually indistinguishable from the post background and makes the board hard to use on my phone...

    I'll be working on something for the icons. They are based on the vBulletin default icons though.

    Yes, because I only have limited time to work on this. I changed the quote to a the light yellow used for notices. This should make quotes very distinguishable. Let's see if that works.

    It's still there, but they moved it at the bottom

    I lightened the yellow so it's not the intense yellow it was before.
    I also lightened the backgrounds as well. They aren't far off from being white, so it's just a hint to dull off the intensity of the white bakcgrounds.

    Emil and I will work on those icons. As I said before, it'll take time to tweak all of those.

    Reboot: Do you know by chance how to indent the main index forum categories? Or, at the very least, tint the color of only the main category listings? There's currently no default setting to do either in vBulletin 4.
    Thanks!

    Better, but I was expecting just the grey-blue used for the left-hand column

    This isn't perfect, but it's at least a basis for working in Firefox for the indents at least.
    Code:
    .forumhead + .childforum .L2 .forumrow, .forumhead + .L2 .forumrow {
    width:96%;
    }

    ol.childforum .L2{
    background-color:none; width:100%;
    }

    ol.childforum div.table{
    margin:0 4%;
    }
    If you want the right-hand edge to be even, you would need to !important that width:100% or find out what the hell is overriding it...

    [I snipped out some fora to make that clearer, but it's the only photoshopping I did]

    That probably won't work. I don't think it looks very good. but thank you for posting it!

    If we could just figure out how to tint the background on the main categories...

    Thanks for the fixes, the forum is more readable with the white lessened.

    Any chance we could get these colours back?

    Hey guys I am loving the new forums but we need to make a little change to those squares in the corners of posts the indicate new post and old ones. The current color scheme has the white for old post and a pale blue when they are newer but these are so close in color that at a casual glance they look the same. I suggest using the old color scheme of orange for new and white for old.

    Also the threads that are listed in the org forum on the opening pages could you change the color scheme so that the letters and titles are red when new and default blue(?) when they are not, like for this thread, the blue showing that it has a new post is not much different than the older titles that are already unread.

    We could also use an adjustment to the who's here box on the main forums page, the names tend to spill over into the side where the background is. I can fix this by switching to "compatibility view" but it sometimes means I have to sign back in.

    Also typing in reply boxes and PM/VM boxes is kind of annoying when the thing scrolls back up while your trying to read what you typed before or sit still for a few second. I would like the box to stay at the bottom of the box while I am trying to type let alone trying to ad a link or image.

    Thank You for dealing with my issues and here is something good in return. It is Mcaffee's Site Advisor Report on our site and we got the Green Check Mark which is their highest rating:

    I'd like to see the thread links a darker blue. The tone of that blue is too light, at least for me.

    The blue is the same: threads with new posts are in bold.

    Those kind of things are not on us. These are things changed in the software by vBulletin.
    There isn't much we can do about layout issues like that unless we spend lots of money on someone able to modify the templates properrly, and then have to redo that everytime vBulletin updates the templates again. The best way to voice these concerns is to go to vBulletin.com and let them know.
