Now that I've watched the reveiw...great job as always Dan.

There maybe some issues but I agree that she is still an nice looking figure. Would I buy a Sorceress 2.0, you bet. But even if that never happens I think I can be happy with her.

Can't wait to see the other reviews.

Am I the only one who does not like the 2.0 body on Sorceress? The legs and skirt just don't have the curves I like on the 1.0 female body. It's funny because Sorceress is definitely one figure that could have pulled off the 1.0 body. Mabe the females should be judged on a case by case basis instead of just jumping on the 2.0 bandwagon.

Very true, with the center wing piece she really can't turn at the waist and look right. I think she would have fine without the waist cut, she for sure would have looked great without the cut going through what is a solid white costume with no belt or anything to help hid it.

Great review, Dan! Although I don't think smiling is out of character for the Sorceress. I certainly remember her smiling in Filmation.

Anyway, wow, yeah, I'm disappointed to see how limited her arm movements will be. I guess I would much prefer 200x Sorceress so she's free of the wing shackles on her arms!

Also, Zoar's body is red here but with the orange and blue wings. Shouldn't the body be orange too? It looks like an error actually.

I agree as well. The part that really frustrates me is that in a figure with such limited articulation thanks to the wing construction, they cheaped out on another articulation in those stupid, useless BG Teela thighs. Anything to save a penny. At least we're getting her though. : /

It was a pleasant suprise to see this review before hitting the sack. I do think PD was a bit harsh on the wings. Maybe it would have been a bit better to connect the pegs to the lat's, rather than the shoulders, but I see this as a very minor issue. Folks would be crazy to pose her in anything other than her classic wing spread pose. It looks amazing!!! I say that Mattel really nailed it with the Sorceress!!! I cannot wait to get her in my collection!! She is long overdue

The crotch piece has the hole for the hip socket too low. The thighs should be pushed up about 5-7 mm into the waist. That would give you more of a nice female curve. Symptomatic of 2.0 Female dumpy crotch.

She's gorgeous and everything I wanted visually from a rendition of this character.

Bummer about those wings, but it's not going to bother me much.

Great video, Dan!

She absolutely IS gorgeous. However, the wing drums and lack of arm articulation is pretty devastating to me, at least. She can't cast spells, fight Evil-Lyn, Skeletor and King Hiss with her staff or hug Teela.

Thank you, Dan, for this review. I think you were more than fair. It's a shame that even in the Classics line, we still don't have a Sorceress figure that is a complete triumph.

I just feel they didn't do the work they needed to do. This is a figure that needed more development. Delaying her so that her wings could have been engineered better would have been perfectly acceptible.

The sculpt otherwise is very nice. The staff and headdress are beautiful.

The pelvis is a problem.

Those wings are absolutely terrible. I asked about this several times since she was unveiled and always got ignored or shot down with someone saying, "Well Scott said..."

I just hope we get a 2002 version in the future and they do her wings right.

Well, that will be easy, because they will likely do them like DCUC Hawkgirl... and they can probably share them with Angella.

A great review for one of the most anticipated figures (thanks again Dan), however the wings solution was a big fail IMO... Hopefully they would correct this issue in Sorceress 2.0 (if any).

I don't understand the use of the "even in Classics" qualifier.
Especially anymore, very little in Classics has been a complete triumph.
