Mark Taylor joins the guest list!

Mark Taylor was one of the original toy designers to work on Mattel’s Masters of the Universe collection. According to Mr. Taylor himself, “I created He-Man.” Still contributing to the legacy of He-Man today, some of Mr. Taylor’s original concept drawings were recently used to inspire new action figures in the current Masters of the Universe Classics adult collector line, such as Demo-Man and Vikor.

ThunderCats fans: Matthew Mercer, the voice of Tygra in the new show on Cartoon Network, has joined the guest list. I also have a feeling the original Lion-O, Larry Kenney, will be popping up on the guest list this week too!

i'd to have love to have gone to power con, but living in N.ireland its just far to expensive, so such a short time away.

ironically for the same price for myself i got quoted for the few days at PC i got for the same time of year 2 weeks in orlando with unlimited park access to disney and universal

still was a hard choice though lol
And so I walk, into the searing light which banishes all darkness, surrendering my face and form to atoms of dust, seeking the true darkness of peace, the cool shadows of eternity and the unknown fate of nothingness

Jack and Leslie Wadsworth join the guest list!

Jack and Leslie Wadsworth portrayed the most powerful man in the universe and princess of power herself, He-Man and She-Ra, on the Masters of the Universe Power Tour.

A three million dollar production, the live stage event featured He-Man, his sister She-Ra, and assorted warriors and wizards from the faraway planets Eternia and Etheria. The “high-tech extravaganza” featured a music-driven storyline and was described as offering clashing armies, dazzling magical feats and even a roller derby, in addition to troupes of acrobats and dancers.

Awesome! This is as close as I'm ever going to get to seeing the Power Tour. Sadly I didn't even know about it when I was a kid.

    absolutely seconding this thought....

So, how many people are coming in the night before? Should we plan something for that night? (Hopefully the restaurant in this hotel won't take 2 hours plus to serve you.... )

Oh man, don't remind me! That's why I only had one meal pretty much the whole weekend when I ran across the street to Burger King really quickly. LOL.

We definitely slammed their bar and restaurant. I don't think they were expecting such a crowd. I'll be sure to forewarn this year's hotel

Not just you JW's & Craig. The service at the hotel was worse than Stinkors stank. TJRules & I waited 20min for 2 beers. And it wasn't busy...hell I think that was Friday night too. But yeah BK got my dinner $$$. TJRules & I skipped breakfast(to sleep in) & lunch b/c we wanted to see everything we could. So we loaded up after the panels & headed over to BK. Greasy but good. There was no hour break for people to go get lunch. But..it was worth it. I have a feeling this will be true for this year as well w/ 2 panel rooms now. I'm sooo excited for this years PC.

Yeah, that was my thing too. I really wanted to go to everything. I pretty much had to sacrifice any Thundercats stuff just to walk the floor and grab a bit the one time at Burger King! LOL. This year I'm stocking up on snack bars and Ensure or something to keep me going so I only have to take time for one meal. We'll see. I did sit down in the restaurant twice and no one ever bothered to take my order.

Ensure is good but dude you're not 70 yrs old. Do you have your AARP card too. Kidding of course. Hopefully there might be a grocery store close by to stock up on gatorade, granola bars & snacky foods. You are so on the money that the hotel restaurant service bit big time. I don't know who has the worst customer service. The restaurant or DR....ok ok let's be real. DR is the worst. But that hotel restaurant is a close second.

Is Ensure for old people? I can't say I ever had it. I just know it's supposed to be nutritional or something.

But hey, look, Hayden Panietttere (however you spell her last name) buys Ensure. Lots and lots of it. Maybe it's for her grandma?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what the new hotel is like. I liked the hotel itself enough last year. Not that I spent a ton of time in my room though other than to sleep.
