hey guys! so... it IS looking like i should be able to go again this year, now, BUT of course i've already missed the power package (*grumble*), and apparently already missed the hotel deal too. grrr. i know a few of my friends on here mentioned about possibly sharing room space... i would be planning to come in on friday, and stay friday, saturday, and sunday nights... so, first question is... guys? lol... anyone KNOW they have available space in their room for these nights, and would be willing to let me stay and split cost??? (if so, please pm and let me know... i'd just need to be certain, of course, before hopping a plane to LA!!! lol.)
also, as a major aside... anyone have interest in seeing the Batman Live arena tour show, which is in San Jose, CA the same weekend? there's a show on friday night at 7:30, which would work, BUT apparently this is about 6 hours away from the PowerCon location... so, is anyone interested, AND does anyone have any great ideas as to HOW we'd get to and from friday to make it work? (sorry,i'm just an ignorant traveler... last year's Power-Con was my very first time on a plane in my 36 years!! lol.)
thanks guys. still HOPING to see you all there this year!

Now that SDCC has come and gone, the next big MOTU event is Power-Con. Only a little over 2 months to go.

Well cats and kittens I had to cancel my CA trip, sad times I know. The bonus is I've just cancelled my reservation which means some lucky person may be able to snatch the room up under the power-con discount code. I'm not sure how Marriot handles such things, but a room is now open.

Drat. Wish you were still coming. I'm sure that hotel room won't last long, though.

The closer this gets, the funner it sounds. I'd like to go some year, but the past two it's happened at the same time as other big stuff- maybe next time.

I have to say, I'm a bit more excited about the Thunder than the Power this year. This con needed a bit more Thunder after last year though.

That would be cool. Or John Erwin. Earle Hyman would be fantastic. Also, Will Friedle, Kevin Richardson and/or Emmanuelle Chriqui would be fun.

I know it couldn't possibly work, but I wish you could choose who you sat with. I would definitely o for it then.

Knowing my luck, I'd probably end up at a table of filmation guests (a part of the property I just don't have any love for - other than pop filmation).

are you selling stuff again this year or just enjoying the con as a regular? You can still drink with everyone Friday night.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

Oh, I assure you, my man, I WILL be drinking on Friday night! But I can't decide if I should get a table again! I've got a couple deals in the works right now, so if those go through that will take care of most of what I have left to sell--if they don't happen then I'll get a table, but I'd reeeeeeeeally rather just enjoy it as a regular guest this year.
