That's what I thoguht. So I'm going under the impression that we might only get the four Turtles in this style. I'm not getting my hopes up, that way if a 2nd wave is announced I'll be really excited but I won't be overly bummed out if they let us know that a 2nd wave isn't happening.

I can't wait to see Casey but at the same time since he is usually April's boyfriend and April is a tween I am not too optimistic
You raise a really good point as I had already forgotten it's skewed more towards the young to tween demographic on Nickelodeon so that totally makes sense- plus it would be somewhat creepy to have Casey be this older high school guy dating a tween April lol!

Yeah I agree, I do think this line will do enough to at least get a Wave 2 that has Shredder, Foot Soldier, Splinter, and probably April. Normally in toy production you just don't make one wave for a retail line, at least not one with the retail history that TMNT has. Worst comes to worst a Wave 2 would end up being a TRU exclusive or something

As long as I get the 4 Turtles that is a good enough start I guess

April is a tween? So wait a minute, in the new series are the Teenage Turtles going to be older than April? Now that's a change of pace.

Man, We're so close to a well done 6" scale Bebob and Rocksteady. I really hope the Classics line survives long enough for those two.

She is either a Tween or a very youthful and hip adult

    I call tween.

My BBTS order says ships in August, and most of the time, I receive my orders from them before major retail puts them out.

A hip adult makes sense. If she is an adult at least they can hide out in her apartment and Donatello can accidentally run into Jack Kirby who rents the downstairs apartment.

If she's a tween they can hang outside her bedroom window hiding from her folks ala Optimus Prime.

Oh I see my mistake now. I thought from the pics from Toy Ark it was all one line of toys.

Anyway heres a few pics for folk interested.

The fish dude is named "Fish Face" and the dog dude is named "Dogpound." Those are both new characters for the new cartoon.

There was a sketch of Leatherhead on display there as well.

I'll check out the cartoon to see if it is any good. I doubt I'll get any of the toys, though.

I hope the TMNT Classic figures will be closer in scale to MOTUC than either scale of the Thundercats Classics have been.

    Retail I believe.

The quality of the sculpts and paint is a love letter to the vintage line, the exact same way MOTUC is. I can't say the same for Thundercats Classics.

These figures are actually not referential to the vintage line, but rather the cartoon. Still pretty rad, though.

Well with the packaging, it's a little bit of both.

Yeah the packaging is based on the vintage line, the fig design is pure cartoon. Its like the best of both worlds and nostalgia 10 fold

Oh, come on Dan... aren't you dying for a classic April, Splinter, Krang and finally, a proper Shredder?
