Custom Character - Replikor

Here is a custom character I created based on the Idea that "most" masters characters ended up having a opposing character to fight them Since Fakers toy didnt have an direct opposite to his toy... from this my idea for Replikor was born.

---------Design Points-------------
Taking design cues from Faker, Cartoon -to- toy, I used Skeletor as the body as Faker was built off the idea of a evil He-Man copy.

To throw some vintage toy look to it I used He-Mans chest harness, as Fakers "toy" had a Skeletor's chest harness to show who he was allied with.

The colors are the direct color opposites of Skeletor for his "core" color scheme, with some slight modification/re-positioning of the colors to tie them all in well together.

In the end I found this to be something... I would honestly would have been happy buying as a kid in the original toy line to pose or play and have fighting my Faker toy.

...I honestly feel this is a character that should have been made in some way.

Biography
===========================================

Replikor

Real name= N/A

A robot created by Man-At-Arms to immitate skeletor in every way possible. Replikor was created with but one fuction in mind; to sneak into Snake Mountain and discover if Skeletor had used up all of the Coridite Crystal he had stolen in his previous attempt to balance the power strugle with the those of the Light Hemisphere of Eternia.
Sadly for Replikor his ability to imitate Skeletor did not extend into the mystical realm and his true identity was discovered by Skeletors apprentice; Evil Lyn; and he was soon banished into a parallel dimension. Upon arival there, Replikor discovered his appearance was much changed, due to the different nature of that universe. Now the robot seeks only to discover a means to return to his home dimension of Eternia and rejoin the fight against Skeletor.

I like it! Great figure and bio. Gonna make a MOTU version now since you have a 200x and Classics? That would be really neat! I always pitted Faker vs. Roboto since they were the evil vs. good robots, but yours makes sense with the chameleon mode for infiltration.

Wonderful concept!!! And great custom. Painting yellow always is difficult. This looks very clean. Wonderful custom.

I actually have a plan to make a custom one of my Replikor character in the Vintage line as well as use the STUNNING Custom Cardback that Adult Collector so graciously made for me for his display.

BUT... sadly I still need to get the parts to do so. IF anyone has any vintage items lin this list to make him let me know...

I never got around to replying to my comments here on my first classics custom figure.

This was my main favorite and very first custom Classics character. So hearing all the kind words about him really lifts my spirits right now.

Can´t decide who looks worse, the 200X or the MOTUC, lol

OH!!! I actually did a vintage version as well, but I have not taken any pics of him yet... I need to do that.

As of right now, I still need to find a blue power sword from vintage line weapons pack.
I have a grey heman powersword that I painted blue for now... but it looks... odd... I really need one of the vintage blue ones to finish him.

He is still missing a custom made blue skeletor staff. But, as asked, here is my vintage Replikor figure...
if any customizers out there can make one please let me know how or if you could make one for my figure.

lol, ya. I agree completely, he needs his blue staff really badly.

Lemme ask, do you guys think the harness should just be solid gold on the vintage version?

As I dont do vintage custom figures, I keep thinking that this vintage replikor might be over detail painted. Do you think that it should be MUCH more simple colored on the torso armor for a vintage version of him? Maybe jsut solid gold chest armor an blue on the cross an strap risers?

Thoughts?

I dont recall seeing this thread until a couple days ago, I like how you went all out and made him into every MOTU line (well except for NA which doesn't really exist for me anyway) Anyway, cool job!
