Uuuuuh...that's a creative idea to say the least.
I don't know that it would really go over that well.
If anything I think they would make She-Ra in Barbie form and He-Man in Ken form.
Ok, this may seem like an outlandish idea, but think about it... it could potentially generate a HUGE amount of interest in the line!
Its not like Barbie would have to be wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag or anything, she could be decked out in Barbarian attire (or a nice little floss bikini with fishnet stockings!)... but the simple fact of having a Barbie figure in the line could produce a groundswell of interest and would probably make the Mattel executives happy. So what do you think?

How about She-Ra and her POP world as Barbies.....![]()
Excellent idea! I´m all for it.
Bring her on!

I want Lion-o as a MOTUC figure too. Optimus Prime as well. Maybe Spider-man. Ninja Turtles would be cool. Ohh and Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

:o B-but, I thought that BG Teela WAS the Barbie, for this line.:P
Does Galactus fart?
Toyguru, read this: The Rebellion needs Glimmer!! I NEED Glimmer!! Pretty Please?
Come on now, that's just plain silly. Barbie is a Mattel property, the others are not.
...but that would be pretty sweet too.
Nice, very nice!!
Well they went Polly Pocket, so why not... in fact, that is a FANTASTIC idea!!!
I'd love to see a He-Man Ken doll... oh wait a minute, they already made Bow!![]()

I think there should definitely be a "Barbie as She-Ra" doll made one day.
If it is a success, then they should also consider making Catra, The Sorceress, Teela and Evil-Lynn. The "Monsters High" dolls seem to do well and they're not the standard "pretty blonde in a ballgown" kind of doll. I imagine a "fantasy warrioress" line of Barbies could also do quite well. If they did really well, then it would be good to see a "Ken as He-Man" and a "Ken as Bow" as well.
As it would only involve new "clothes" and a few larger scale plastic weapons, I would have also thought it would be a fairly cheap investment for Mattel. New head-sculpts would be great, but I'm guessing they would have a sufficient "catalogue" to choose one that would suit "She-Ra", especially as the original toy has a very "doll like" head-sculpt.
I would be very much opposed to incorporating Barbie into MOTUC in any way.
On the other hand, I would HIGHLY support any MOTUC influences in the Barbie line, most specifically She-Ra as Barbie like you're all discussing. They made a Cyndi Lauper Barbie (along with some other 80's rockers) and it came out fantastic!

barbie as She-ra? yeah I think I'd get that, if she looks Filmation, sure.
The whole idea is a bit embarrassing though, I'd try to not let my brother know, or pretty much anybody IRL.
When it comes to She-ra Princess of Power characters, FILMATION is the way to go!.
I had one Babbie when I was about 5...I took off all her clothes and tied a string to her hair and would wiz her around and throw her up in the air...needless to say my mother never thought of trying to buy me a barbie again. lol
However...I would DEF buy her...she's bad ass!!!

Oh well, you know, it takes a lot of confidence to display a She-ra barbie and not feel less manly

I've got a 5 year old daughter... so I do all kinds of un-manly things.![]()
I never understood why they never made a true Barbie She-ra. She would be a good seller.
That aside I would never ever buy myself a barbie, even if it was She-ra.
