Although I liked the original repaint, I disliked the accessories the figure came with. I feel much better about Snake MAA now. About time we got that Arm Cannon.
I prefer the Teela boots. I wish the Sorceress that is coming had extra boots. Maybe in a Weapons Pak?
I love these new figures, but... the Geoff Johns figure BLOWS!!! Its so not MOTU. I have to say this is the first time I have ever seen a figure I didn't like from the Classics line. I have loved all the others (even TMS). This figure looks like Mr. Johns whipped it up in 5 minutes and didn't even give a rip about it. The fact that he's a knight is the only thing that is remotely cool about it. I'm so disappointed in his design. As a professional artist/designer he should be able to come up with something better. All the other figures are amazing. I LOVE what they did for SMAA... SOOOOOOO much better![]()
I think 200X has been doing pretty well this year with a bunch of "sleeper hits".
• The Griffin that stole the show at Power Con 2011
• Snake Men Army Builders that stole the show at NYCC 2012
• Man-At-Arms' Arm Cannon
• 200X Man-At-Arms
• Keldor's Swords
You mean the "200X He-Man" that I have? Oh, yes.
It's good to have both Vintage and 200X versions that you can freely swap between at a whim. My original MAA has the unshaven head, while Snake MAA will have the moustached head that's been sitting in my plastic container for a few years now.

I think Snake MAA will look great with the moustache head from the first MAA issue. Especially with the arm cannon... He could totally be like an older version where more bionic parts are needed to support his body after many battles and a second Snake MAA would be his final transformation as King Hssss' finest scientest... I am getting 2!
I love Frosta, she looks a bit slutty, exactly how I remember her from the POP cartoons. She just needs to lose some eyeliner...
Spikor is a decent baddy and will look good with Skelly's brute squad.
The Snake army builder is pretty decent too. Love the interchangeable armour and weapons! Commander Khan has his army now!
Then Sir Lazer-lot looks like another freaky MAA creation. He will definitely shine next to Roboto in the Grayskull workshop!
Overall I am pretty impressed for this year! 2012 so far looks great!
Who is the real protector of Grayskull?
Thank you TheFallen. I just do not understand why none of the sites I go to have this item pictured.
Take part in Illumina Day! Let people know who she is and help get her in MOTUC.

Holy crud on a cracker, what's with all the negativity around here? I swear, people are never happy. >.<
My first thought was "SPIKORSPIKORSPIKORSPIKORSPIKORSPIKOR! XDXDXDXD" FINALLY! His head looks pretty much exactly like the original figure, but that's cool. I wasn't expecting much more after the Clawful debacle. Two tridents, one extended, one not; his orange, spiky mace and a second hand for the Filmation buffs. Not too shabby. Also, new bracers! I'm really excited for Spikor this year!
Frosta looks cool (har har). I like that all of the Horsemen's female face sculpts are subtly different, but they really tried to make Frosta unique here, which I like. Sure they may need to tone down the makeup some to make her look a little less trashy, but the actual sculpt is good, with those big, dreamy eyes and full lips. Would have been cool (urgh, again?) if they had given her some sort of ice blast effect, or a sword/dagger made out of ice or something.
The Snake MAA changes look great! Apart from his left boot, of course. Why is it not Trap Jaw's boot? Would have looked MUCH better. Don't understand why they would not just go ahead and use it if they're using so many Roboto/Trappy parts already. Oh well. The 200X arm cannon is something I'm excited about, mostly cuz they originally said they weren't gonna do it. Only thing is, it looks a bit TOO dumbed down/cobbled together from bits of styrofoam. Why is the magazine not curved? Makes it look cheap. I dunno why. >.> Haters gonna hate, but I for one, am quite keen for this variant. Finally going to have an alternate MAA body to put the moustachioed head onto!
The Snakemen 2-pack looks wicked! Can anybody say "Rattlor parts!"? Loving the scales. The one-sided MYP armour is also cool. Was hoping to get that with some generic Snakemen. I do wish at least one of those guys had a tail, though. The weapons looks neat/deadly. I'll be buying two of those packs.
Sir Laser-Lot is a GREAT name. Pity the figure seems so dull. Well, I guess the design is okay... I LOVE the flowing plume on his helmet. It's just that they really need to add MORE COLOURS to the paint job for it to really "pop". Cuz as they are, those colours are pretty darn ugly. What could you really expect though from the guy who made a whole rainbow of Lantern Corps? Doesn't seem like the place to go for good ideas, to me. He's kinda cool, but he needs work done on him. Unfortunately, like Spector, he's probably going to stay the way he is.
Keldor's swords! Wait, why don't the handles join together and why are they so far apart? UGH! They look alright separate, but together they look exceptionally dumb. Why is there always ONE THING ruining an otherwise great idea in this line? *sigh* At least we got 'em... And I guess I'll be displaying one in each hand anyway... C'est la vie.
I think that's everything...
OH! I see they're keeping with the trend of using reveals to distract us from all the bad news that's been coming out lately. It's okay though, I like shinies.
Evil Simian Mechanic of the Horde!
FROSTA - I'm thrilled about this being the next POP reveal!! Can't wait to get her and she looks very Filmation which I like personally.
SPIKOR - Looks great also excited bout this.
SNAKE MEN ARMY BULIDER - Way too 2000x for me not my thing but obviously will end up with them since they are in the sub.
30th ANNIVERSARY Figures - I'm not wanting any of these and will only buy Photog anyway.

After seeing better pictures on Elkkthunder's site, I can say he does look a little slow. He has a Huge, wide maw compared to his vintage mouth, and his head is smaller, due to smaller shorter spikes. It looks more filmation (and cartoony) and less vintage. I really liked the vintage head, and still think it looks meaner. More like a skull and less like Toadwart from gummy bears.
Hopefully with some more detailed paint aps like muscle shading or different lighting he will look cooler to me. He was one of my favorites, and right now his MOTUC incarnation is not very appealing to me. I can say it is not terrible. AllesandraF's repaint 'shop of frosta looks amazing and may salvage the sculpt as it is.
Edit: just saw profile of Spikors head, looks way cooler than from the front. Maybe he will be way better than I thought just like leech turned out. Also Frosta looks a lot better in other pics even with the bad paint. With better paint and maybe a lighter skin tone and hair tone, she should be pretty cool.

Hmmm, should he be a darker bluish purple like the vintage figure, or is he fine as is?
