he looks to have a laser sword, laser mace, laser feathers in his helmet, and a drawing of lasers shooting on his shield. Like I said, it looks like a kid made this. Geoff Johns' kid maybe?

This is what happens when you don't pay comic creators for their designs

I'm a huge Geoff Johns fan, but this thing is a catastrophe. So glad I didn't get that sub.

When I first saw him the only thing I could think of is how he could be modified to look like the mystery Wind Raider pilot.

He came up with the character as a kid. We were told that a while back.

If he was black or silver instead of the blue, he probably wouldn't have been as bad. It's that blue...just....ugh.

Absolutely awful. I actually think the Star Sisters are better. Even space police Icarius is better! The worst figure ever!

But they didn't. They still could. But they are making this figure. And he looks like he's out of Filmation. Next?

Oh my -- I completely disagree, I do not get a Filmation vibe from this at all.

I can definitely appreciate Spector and Draego a little more after seeing this. Not a fan.

Very underwhelming on every level IMO.

It's not a striking or memorable design, it has lazy parts reuse, and it doesn't really feel MotU-ish, but rather one of those 80's knockoff MotU lines, all of which sadly had cooler figures than this.

No offense to my fellow fans, but I shudder to think what design gets picked for the Design-A-Character this go-round if Mighty Spector and Sir Laser Lot are the standard to match up to.

I love the character. Not only is he my favorite of today's reveals, he's my favorite of the 4 30th Anniversary toys. I may not love everything Johns is doing at DC, but I dig his toy. It just screams old school fun. I'm sure his bio won't fill me with that feeling though since Johns & ToyGuru(or whoever writes the bios) both seem fond of doom & gloom.

As he's actually a CLASSIC character.
And I don't even want Red Knight. But since they wanted to make a knight toy...
    End of story.

I like the design, but the colors are more simple than I would like. It needs some additions besides the red and blue.

I'm worried about it because I'd imagine the same people who are responsible for these duds are the same people who will be picking the winner. Will they want the winners figure to outshine their own? As it stands there isn't a lot one needs to do in order to trump these figures.

He does look like he stepped out of the cartoon in the mid-80s. I'm going to get him, but I'll have to have him in hand before I make a firm decision one way or the other.

All this POS figure did was make me appreciate Spector now....

I don't like the helmet, the Citgo sign on his chest, the shield that looks like a child doodled on it, or the exploding red gummy bear coming out the back of his head.

    It's Cobra Commander!!!!!

How can this not be everyone's reaction?!

I can even put one of those spare Snake men heads on him to recreate his "death" from the animated movie!

    COBRA!!!

EDIT, whoopse, Grimbot saw it too!

He's okay. A bit too much blue overall, and an overwhelming "medieval Superman" color scheme. I'll be doing some alterations when he arrives.

Also painting that triangle pink. Nyah ha ha!

I bitterly regret now, that i bought the 30th sub :-(
He looks like a lame custom. What a waste of money...
The Mighty Spector really rocks now. Maybe that was the intention behind that poor sucker Sir Lose-A-lot money for crab.

At first I thought it was some lame filmation character I'd never heard of. You know, one of the hundreds of dumb background people in the cartoon that people talk about. But then I saw it was one of the 30th figures. Well he actually seems filmation like, so well done on that - it's probably why I don't like him though.
His weapons are nice, I'll say that.
