I dig this bio, but I couldn't help but think of the Robot Chicken skit that points out how idiotic it is for anyone to think Faker is actually He-Man.

Tricking people into thinking he's Gar makes more sense, though. I have to wonder why Eternians hate the Gar so much.

I find the gar thing a *little* contrieved.

So they made people think He-man was waering full-body make-up?

In fact, I bet they thought He-Man's good deeds were just some insidious Gar plot to first get close to the Eternians by pretending to be a hero, just so he could destroy them from within. Of course it doesn't make sense, but blind hate causes paranoia and conspiracies to fly rampant.

What really doesn't make sense however is Sy-Klone's role in all of this. He's a Gar. Why did people tolerate him being part of the Masters?
I see your point, but to me it's just poor writing (if I'm to be blunt). It seems like a plot hole (or two or more) waiting to happen and it reads like a poor attempt to explain Faker's toy form. I'm not against explaining some things in cannon, but there isn't a need to explain everything (and it's probably better in the long run that they shouldn't) and maybe some things, like Faker's blue skin, should just remain an anomaly. That's my thoughts on it.

I actually quite dig this bio. It brings things together quite nicely.

I'm sure they thought it was some sort of enchantment that made him look caucasian.
After all, Evil-Lyn's skin color changed via magic.

Of course it also means that someone could be using magic or technology to frame He-Man, but like I said, the Eternians are so blinded by hate, they immediately think of the worst.

I think it works. I also think the bios for the variants are a great place to explore the overall story rather than telling us who He-Man is 7 separate times.

Well since in first page of NewMini-Comic (the one seen online everywhere) we do see Thunder Punch He-Man, it's great to see what the bio for figure says.

When Skeletor banished Randor to Despondos, he used Faker to convince the royal court that He-Man was not only a Gar, but also responsible for the King's "death." This ruse turned the people of Eternia against He-Man and the Masters soon became renegades in their own land. Driving to the underground caves of Tundoria, the Masters reformed as an elite attack squad. They returned to the surface and found not only Skeletor ruling Eternia, but King Hssss and a newly returned Hordak also challenging for control. To enhance his strength for these new battles ahead, He-Man used the Powers of Grayskull to energize his weapons, giving them a new Thunder Punch to combat evil!
OK, So how did Skeletor banish Randor to Despondos when he was in the future or out in space with He-Man for his NA adventures? And even if this is to happen before hand. Like another pointed out. Why didn't the people listen to their Queen? Was she banished to? Wasn't She-Ra there to take on the fight while He-Man was away? And The Rebellion who followed her along back to Eternia to fight Hordak? I don't think the people of Eternia would be that stupid! I expect we will have to see Toyguru try to rewrite the major plot holes he is coming up with!

I really dig this bio - it is great. That being said, let me also say that as a bio it really sucks! But as a gap filler it is awesome! It really brings some things together. But as always, answered questions lead to more questions than answers. Since I have to wait until TP He-Man is shipped for the comic, I don't have the pleasure of knowing more of the story. But based on the bio, it almost sounds as if the Snake Men and Horde re-surface until after the Heroic Warriors are driven underground. Obviously not the case regarding the Snake Men b/c of Fisto's bio and others. But if I'm not mistaken, based on other bios, the Horde arrive with He-Man underground and Skeletor ruling Eternia.

as whbinder already pointed out, NA happens after the events descriped in TP HE-Man's bio.

She-Ra and the rebellion came to Eternia sometime after He-Man and the Masters became renegades (and after Hordak already returned to Eternia full force). So chronologically, during the events described in the bio, She-Ra and the rebellion are all still on Etheria.

Also Captain Glenn's bio (not Queen Marlena's) states Marlena returned home to Earth at some point. That return (whether voluntary or involuntary) could have happened just before the events in TP HE-Man's bio, hence no queen to rule the people.

Not crazy about this bio. Especially the fact that they try to explain Faker's skin. Faker's fine the way he is!

This is actually a bio that I really like ! And it's a fact that is rare enough to be mentioned... This bio links and ties some parts of the story, and I like it. Faker's colour is explained, and Skeletor ruling Eternia, plus Hssss and Hordak wreaking havoc, is just pure win, IMO !

Seriously, Scott's fanfic bios just plain suck, time to let a professional write them.

I like it too, for the same reasons. It's a really good and fun one. The only point I'd make is that if I were Adam and saw Faker revealed to be He-Man AND Randor's assailant, I'd have called him a liar and transformed before the whole court.

I agree. It's always seemed kind of silly to me that Faker was made to be a He-Man replica, but he was frickin' blue Kind of a glaring mistake on Tri-Klops' part.

    Love it!

    I know, I know, I always do.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

So now all people will hate Sy-Klone because people believes he is a gar, people will hate Smurfs because they are little gars?

And now the glamorous Heroic Warriors must live in the underground where they founded upgrades to their weapons...

It came off better than the Demo Man one did. I actually quite like it a bit. We know who He-Man is but maybe it should have said more about his armour.

Wow, with that 3 way battle going on, I bet the planet was ravaged.

So if what we heard is true. The second Battleground is a 4 way battle. Looks like characters will die to clear the table so to speak. He-Man knows how to defeat the Snakemen and I'm sure they use it. Skeletor kills Hordak and takes over the remaining members of the Horde. I'm sure his evil warriors and the Hordesmen will be in shambles. Plus some of them are kind of mindless and probably follow Skeletor since he is the strongest. With Randor and Miro back and Skeletor going into space, that kind of leaves the door open nicely for He-Man and She-Ra to leave and everyone else can rebuild. I wonder if Skeletor fixing himself into his NA self is a result of his battle with Hordak. So very epic and cool. Makes me more sad it never got animated.

I am ok with the Masters name being used. It does have that Avengers feel to it. They used it a few times in the old minis if I am not mistaken.

Also dig the Faker bit. Makes him seem better used. I mean how would you feel if Randor was reported killed by He-Man who turns out to be a gar and runs around causing damage and terrorizing.

Is this seriously better than the Modulok mini-comic origin? I guess I'm biased since that's probably my fav issue.
