I love this Bio. A little bit about Faker, A bit about Skelly and Randor. Loads of people get a mention. I would have haed to get another BA He-man bio. More story is what everyone keeps asking for. Now that we have it people still complain.
We don't need no education...
Yes you do, you've just used a double negative!
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!
I'll bet it all stems from Marlena and her earthling racism. And why does Sy-Klone get a free pass? He's her secret lover, I'll bet! Scandal in the house of Randor!
Finally, after all these years, SOME explanation as to why Faker (supposedly a dead ringer for He-Man) is blue! Also, as a Skeletor fan, I really like this bio. I know this has been mentioned before as the evolution of the MYP series, had it returned for a 3rd season, but I still dig seeing this story arc reaffirmed.
Wow. I'm starting to feel pretty bad for Keldor/Skeletor right about now.
The Eternians clearly have an irrational hatred for anyone who is Gar. I don't understand how they could ignore the protests of Queen Marlena and Prince Adam (not to mention all the "Masters") and decide that He-Man was a "Gar" and should be driven from the kingdom/underground as punishment for the colour of his skin! It serves them right that they soon thereafter ended up being invaded and defeated by Skeletor.
I'm really liking the bio, learning some information on these characters only adds to them.
You know, I'm starting to wonder how Sy-Klone is treated around the palace. While he might be okay with the other Masters, the citizens of the kingdom might not fully trust him if he's a Gar. Unless he won them over by saving the kingdom numerous times. It might be very telling since his best friend is Roboto, who wouldn't know of racism or prejudice.

Probably my favorite bio thus far and definitely one of the best reveals from NYTF!
MADAME RAZZ & BROOM IN 2013!!!
"What and miss a good scrap? I never told Adam or Man-At-Arms but I used to be quite a ROWDY in my youth!" - King Randor
Don't like the bio, too me it's not big enough. I mean they should have used a better tactic to get rid of the Masters. The Masters fleeing underground just because the people turn on He-man. That's like saying when Batman took the blame for Harvey Dent's murders and fled, the people turned against Batman so all the cops left Gotham too.
Come on, why didn't Adam just stop becoming He-man, take over as King, calm the royal court and have the Masters stay to protect Eternia until Adam could figure out a way to clear He-man's name. Why would all the Masters get blamed for one man's decision if He-man did kill Randor. And Adam fleeing, makes him just as guilty of killing his own father. Did Bruce leave Gotham.. no. What would that do to Marlena, in fact where is Marlena in all of this?
I just think something else should have been done. Like a lose of Adam's power. No He-man would greatly tip the balance in Skeletor's favor. The most powerful man in the universe running away just seems too much.
The problem with this is that there are no episodes to see this in context. Skeletor is the older brother and would be king. We don't know exactly how he wound up turning the people against Randor and the Masters and I think a bio is too small a place to explain it. I'd ask TG to clarify, but he might tell me to "Read the bios!"
Wish List: Eldor, Skeleton Warriors, King Argho, Horde Wraiths, Kobolds, Prahvus, Lord Masque, Rock Monster, Gen. Tartaran, Evil Seed, Carnivorous Plant, Lizard-Man, Hawke, Crimson Fury, Melaktha, Extendar, Spinwit, Ra-Jarr, Kelclar, King Miro, Dare, Missile-Toe, Sh'gora, Vizar, Harpy, ABC Giants, Lodar, Dragoon, Darius, Seahawk, Masks of Power Demons, Slob-Boar, Bubblor, Three-Beast
I think its cool, though it makes me wish for a real cartoon to get some better cannon stuff.
the ignore list is my new best friend
According to the bio, they don't just hate him because he's a gar: "He-Man was not only a Gar, but also responsible for the King's "death."
That last part is pretty important.![]()

One of the best bios so far. Love every bit of it.
Exactly, we are not told what the people thought but any look at History shows that in a time of emotion people don't need the facts they just need someone to blame or patsy.
I liked the bio, I did not need an elaborate story about the figure. The armor is from a world where He-Man needs new weapons or armor he uses the Castle and he has it (Like with the Snakeman Armor in the MYP series or the Battle Punch Armor).

Cool bio - liking it a lot - it all seems to be fitting into a larger story. I actually prerer bios like this when required - I don't really need a bio stating the obvious (He-Man's thunder punch) but the surrounding events around it do need explaining and it comes off better for me personally.
I too like that the explained Faker's skin color. I think it works as a majority of people in Eternia have never seen He-man. It's not like they have television to see him in. So most people really have to rely on stories and rumors so if they see some blue skinned He-Man who fits the stories people hear and displays some of He-Man's abilities, then why wouldn't they think he was the real deal. We don't know the stories of He-Man say he wasn't a Gar, do we?
One of the true fan minority - happy MOTU fans!
www.marveltoys.net - the source for marvel figure information.
He-Man still has lots of allies who would vouch for him, and discredit Faker as an imposter; Man-At-Arms, Queen Marlena, and many others.
Why would the people of Eternia believe the word of a villain like Skeletor over the Queen, the Prince, and their greatest heroes?
Nothing about this bio adds up to me.
Everything about this bio is completely absurd to me. Trying to explain Faker's skin color seems like an interesting idea, yet this scenario is ridiculous. The people of Eternia don't know what race He-Man, perhaps the most famous person on the planet, is? WHAT?! Even without TV or the internet, I'm pretty sure that ancient people knew that Alexander the Great wasn't Japanese. So the "royal court", who were all presumably well acquainted with the heroic warriors if not with He-Man himself, just turned on them and took Skeletor's word for all of this? So they were all tore up about Randor's "death" but thought ALL of his closest friends and family were traitors? HUH? And the notion that Skeletor could win a propaganda war in the first place is simply preposterous. Megatron or Cobra Commander: Maybe. Skeletor: NO! He has a freakin' skull for a face! Would you believe someone with a skull for a face?! I mean, doesn't everyone know that this guy was so evil that they banished him behind a mystic wall for a generation?
And what's up with this trend to use bios for exposition totally unrelated to the figure? We've got four sentences of totally unrelated storyline followed by "oh by the way, He-Man has Thunder Punch powers now!"
The bio says nothing about the "thunder punch". The old TV commercial said something like "you hear the thunder here... you feel the thunder there" - like the punch didn't have to make contact. But in the mini comic, He-Man actually struck the force field, etc. This bio doesn't address this at all.
ne jabba no badda!
I like the bio overall. It explains a few loose ends and finally gives a good explanation for Faker's skin color.
So how are they going to tie this in with the Son of Keldor as the 4th quarter variant?
Everyone's all like "Why does Sy-Klone get a free pass?"
But does he, really? I thought he originally was catching some residual "heel heat" for being a Gar.
I'm down with the bio. In fact, the bio SOLD the action figure for me. Who'd have thought we'd get more info on Faker on a TP He-Man bio?
Keep reading the bios.
I actually love this bio. I think that it expands and develops the story and begins to tie some of the other bios together. I'm a fan of the bios (which I do realize makes me some kind of literary moron), and this is probably one of my favorites.
Great job, Toyguru and MOTUC team!
