    Vintage like filmation She-ra

Well i worked in this figure for a while, the big issue was how to make her hair, firs i did an sculpted one, but didn´t work the way i want it. And for some strange reason i found the way to make her with real hair like the vintage one, and it turned out a lot better than i was expecting.

I´ll be placing new photos, i´m building an scenary for taking new pics, accesories included. Right now i´m posting her coz i need some opinions, BTW it is a 100% original sculpt.

    Hope you like her.

Thanks. Yes it is, it has a rubber band so you can atach it and is practically invisible. Sorry i don´t have a vintage sha-ra figure, the only one that i have is netossa, but i´ll take a pic so you can see how it would look. Also i´m gonna take a pic next to her so you can have an idea of the scale and diferences to the vintage face and body.

Here the pics, please check how mine it´s a little bit taller, and also consider you won´t normally see her this closely in real life, and just to mention i´m not longer making these figures for selling, i´m making them for my own pleasure, so if it takes me a lot to show you updates is because i´m not hurry about making them and the only person i try to please is myself. But your comments are always welcome.

Next to hordak, males are a little bit taller.

Thanks! I made a diferent paint job on another casted head and i think it looks better, but i´m half done with the rooting hair so you will have to wait a little for an update, also her tiara that in the pics was a work in progress now is finish with a smoother look.

What you mean? I think that i need to do the work for those who are she-ra ravers like myself and had some nostalgia for the vintage line, probably because there were good days those of my childhoow, but due it was intended for girls i had to hide my love for them, due i knew my partners and friends at school will make jokes of it, now i don´r really care if people think i´m a weirdo, coz in some ways i am and always was... But also i´m working on The Fright Zone playset btw is complete on the front just some touches before i show the pics... wil blow your mind, as well as my other upcoming figures.

Or are you saying that coz i´m not making MOTUC figures? If so: I would love to take a chance on those figures, but just get enough money to invest on making my own, but for sure i will take my hands on them when the time comes.

    Cheers.

This is a beautiful job Octavio! Wow! I love all the details, like the shield and the tiara! Can you take some pictures of the crown by itself? I've never seen one so accurate before!

Thank you! Sure i´ll take those pics, but i´ve been super busy lately and didn´t have the chance to take them, i need to repaint it coz i damaged the paint and due i´m using and areograph it not as simple as it sounds, and can´t use the compresor at this time, coz its quite late and it makes lot of noise... Also i´m moving to another house and i´m so happy coz i´ll have a better place to work, but won´t be able to show pics until i get the internet service working on my new home. But if i find some time tomorrow to do it, sure i´ll post them.

Yes, for sure my friend, i didn´t take this serius ider, i was just expresing myself. Is still dificult for me to show others my ¨dolls¨ i like to call them figures, but for some, they may look more dollish, but thats the way i like them, and in the past was something i felt ashame off, now i don´t care to show them to anyone, in the past it was like a hidden pleasure I never though you made the comment to offend me or anything like that, i´ve been in touch with you for years and sure we´re buds. When i said that my Fright Zone Playset will blow your mind, is because i mented, i really expect to cause you that, not only to you, but to the rest of the forumers.
