You're right about Bearshow and BBM, danbrenus. Btw: you're one of the artists you mention as well.
I have BBM FB and e-mail contact, but he hasn't updated it in months.
He did some awesome commissions for me long time ago.

Been mostly a lurker around here, but post occassionally. Along with the 30 sketches in 30 days thread by Royalt1us, it was Bearshow's version of Spikor that first got me to bookmark this site. Great to see you back.

Great seeing all my old friends again, Iceman, SnakeManPriest, BattleBrak, Neo, Patreek, and looking forward to the new ones!

Pyre, you're stuff looks great, and I love redesign challenges .

I'm away from home this week, but I have some unsubmitted Create-A-Character Contest designs I thought I'd share. Should be up by early next week !

As far as my older stuff, my old website was retired and the domain name was scooped up, so I'm in the process of fabricating a new one. I thought about posting an "archive" thread of older art, but it struck me as a bit egotistical and presumptious.

    What do you guys think?

I say be as egotistical and presumptious as you wish, your art deserves it.

So bring on the archive thread

i always loved what he came up with especially his hordak.

Bearshow, you should totally show off your old art work, or at least archive it in your org photo album...if not, i know most it can be found on a french website that you can link to

Chris, I have a nice sized folder of your character concepts. I dont think that anyones take on a character that highlights different style or perspective should or would be considered egotistical, no matter when it was created. These pieces made me look at different style aspects of the MOTU creations that I missed or didnt even think of before. You have a wonderful eye for what some of the creators may have thought up with the concept in the first place that didnt translate well into the final product. You also took small cues and made them into a drastically different thing altogether.....like Rattlors arm colors into armour, Awesome!!
That is why you should continue with your renditions on the MOTU key warriors. It keeps the creative juices flowin and I love to see what is comin next!

    OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! BEARSHOW!

This is a sign! A sign, I tell you!

Great to have you back, Bearshow! You probably don't remember me, but I was a huge fan back when I was at least semi-active on the boards. Think I speak for all the long-time members here though when I say we missed you and your art around these parts. Great to find you hale and hearty!

Hey, the Bear is back! =) I'm quite glad and pleased to see you back in action once more, dude.

Yeah, art is the ticket man. I actually quit my own job recently to finally try and make something of my art myself. Signed up at a school and all.

Can't wait to see what you cook back up! Big fan here. Now that I think about it... I've had a pic of yours uncoloured lying around on my harddrive for like, 3 years now. Time to finish it, methinks!

As I discuss in a previous post and tracked your work on the web and found several characters but I would like to know if you got the following characters:

Two Bad, Rotar, Twistoid, Stratos, Meckanek, Ssqueezze, Tri Klops, Roboto, Webstor, Strongarm and Fisto among others.

I hope to see these characters soon.

It's so cool to see all these old names again - nemesis15425, HordeMonkey, GrtEternal - glad to see you!

Hey, Predabot!!! Congratulations on the art move, too! If I remember correctly, isn't the piece you were going to color my old Catra 200X re-design? Whatever it is, color it up, brother!! Always liked your colors, and was anxious to see my work do up professionally!

danbrenus and Hoffrod - Thanks for the encouragement! It's stuff like that that made me decide to go after my art more tenaciously. It means a lot to hear that art is making people happy!

Hello, igaluk! Nice to meet you! Glad to hear you like my stuff! I haven't ever done re-designs of the characters that you have listed, due to the fact that most of the ones you had listed were already done by the Four Horsemen and the cartoon. However, there's been lots of talk around here about doing another round of re-designs via the Re-Design Challenges, so some of those guys might just show up there!

Otherwise, keep checking the "Bear Cave" thread for more archived art, and visit the Fan Art Forum often for new pieces!

Cheers, everyone, and thank you, as always!

    Bearshow!

Hello ! I don't know or expect anyone to remember me, but my name is Chris Edwards, and I used to post on the .org a loooong time ago, as Bearshow, until, well quite frankly, I had too many other obligations to allow me to pursue my art .

I took a job promotion at my old job, and it basically absorbed not only my art career but also my time for anything else. But, the call of art was always there, and after many, many years of working at the same place for almost half of my entire life, I had been bankrolling enough funds to call it quits and pursue my true passion - my art!

The .org was always my home away from home, and I loved being part of the community and working with Val and all of the other amazing artists here.

So, if you'll have me, I'd love to get to "re-know" all of my old friends, as well as make some new ones, and share lots of new artwork here !

    Cheers!

    Bearshow!

I gotta say, I wouldnt mind at ALL seeing more He-Man/animal art like this of the major He-Man characters.
    ..just sain.

Darn, I totally thought it looked like your style, but it was from WAY back in the .org's salad days (1999-2000) I believe, wonder who did do it then I remember another piece by someone called "Jail-Tail", another snake men idea with a random female warrior trapped in his long coiling tail (hence the name). Anyone remember that? Sorry to get OT a little but that's something I'd like to see again, used to the the pic saved but lost it in a hard drive crash .
