oh boy... SHA has just joind the challenge!!! What have I done? lol.
I spoke to him on deviant art... here we go!
...26 artists... phew....
I must WANT to LOSE, lol.
this is my first post here. I'm a big fan of He-Man and the masters of the universe and would like to be part of this great community
One year ago I decided to start a 3D animation project of He-Man. A short movie made like a movie trailer.
I re-design some of the characters from the masters of the universe: Teela, Evil-Lyn, Beast man, Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, Orko, the Sorceress, Cringer, Skeletor and of course He-Man.
So I thought it could be a good place to post the 3D render I did for my new movie style He-Man.
I'll open another thread with some all the 3d renders I did for that project.
So here it is my entry for the "Re-design challenge of He-Man"
I hope you'll like it... and waiting your comments...
I'm honored to welcome you to He-Man.org!! I hope we will see much from you, as that piece is already intensely impressive man. (I especially love that you're idea of a good He-Man looks a lot like mine from the waist up! )
Do you have a Deviant Art site?
Hey Val, don't we have the most talented group of artists a fan site has ever had?
Check out this updated list of who's showing up for the challenge...32... no make that 33 Artists in all so far!

Loving the entries so far. You guys are doing great! Remember too its not just about winning, but just having fun dreaming up a new way for these characters to look and sharing those ideas with others. My favorite part of these has always been seeing all the different designs!
Check me out: www.patrickireland.net
I agree with Patreek, I love seeing He-Man through all of your different eyes, cause it is so cool how many ways one character can be seen. love the relaunch Pyre. keep up the good work.
Hi Pyre, and thanks for your comments appreciate
I come from France. I'm working in the 3D television and film industry. I'm 30, and I'm a big fan of He-Man. I'm actually working on a personal 3d project of Masters of the Universe.
I wanted to be part of this community and share my work with you.
I'm gonna post other characters I did, as I said.
Hope you'll like my He-Man for this challenge... I'm very happy to participate
You can check out more of my works on my websites:
Here I post my entry of He-Man with the great logo of the challenge
And a real time render turntable of it from ZBrush
See ya guys and regards,
welcome on board, aliengraphic, and great work: congrats!
carlosdeanda: i love the way you put together all those different "homages" in a very coherent way;
red norvell: nice hi-tech look, very detailed;
vertigoink: very neat concept, and the beard is a very nice touch;
pyre: pal, wow, you put your soul in this concept...amazing, really amazing!
This sounds like an interesting challenge, I think I'll join in the fun!
Dude Carlos! Way to put the beast into He-Man... If you look up the word "savage" in the dictionary, I think we found the illustration for it.
Zentron, welcome aboard man! I'm so glad you want to join the party =)
Lol, dude. My design has been inducted into the "Beauty of Man" group on deviant art. Heyo!
Verigoink,lovethe mayan/Aztek feel to your idea. Castle grayskull, or should I say "temple grayskull", looks so ancient and forbidding. I'd never go in there. There's gotta be spiders...Heck no! Lookin good man. Can't wait for the finale.
