There is nothing cool about the toy Snake Mountain...that thing is a god-awful vacuum of creative ability. That freaking face was stupid when I was 10...even more so now. If they DO Snake Mountain, I really hope it's based on MYP, Filmation.

I can't say I'm a fan of the "face" on the Snake Mountain hybrid. If it has to be there, it should not have painted details at all (i.e.: no painted eyes or mouth). Just have it be carved in the rock, and let it blend in with the rest of the mountain to keep it as a subtle homage to the original.

Honestly, being the 30th anniversary, I can't see them doing anything LESS then the most ICONIC part of MOTU.
I'm torn...
When I was a kid, It was always a disappointment that it didn't look ANYTHING like the cartoon... and that it only had the ONE level inside... unlike the awesome that was always Grayskull... My mic never really worked... the chains broke fast...
LOTS of things I didn't like about it...
NOW however... Looking back, ANY version of Snake mountain would suck. It would NEVER be big enough... Heck, in filmation they used fight INSIDE the giant mouth... anything smaller is a disappointment. WHile I still hate the big face.... the toy bridge, stairs, chains WERE a pretty cool visual...
And Really Snake mountain just BLEW AWAY the Toy Fright zone!
Did that even HAVE an 'inside'?? I've never even seen a PICTURE of what it had on the inside of that base... It was so small and blahh that even at 10 it was the first 'base' that I didn't want.

I'd like to see a Fright zone Filmation custom...but I never saw one...
I like your idea of going all out with the display but you forgot something, The Crystal Castle. Add that to the display and it will be complete, however, it'll be so big that it would be it for Mattel's booth.
Since they are using the Castle Grayskull booth this year there might not be as much room for the giant display case from the last few years.

The face on the side of the toy and hybrid is just silly looking
Love the 200X SM, but would not mind a "vintage" style sans the silly face.
