In the recent Roast Gooble Podcast with the writer of the new MiniComic's, Tim Seeley, I recall him saying that they were asked to include both Ram-Man and Frosta in the MiniComics, specifically during the Second Ultimate Battleground (which I would think would be in issue 3), so he is still alive (lol)

according to the latest news, #3 has the title "Battle for the Fate of the Universe". i'm sure this will be a big cliff hanger for the NA era.

Frosta and Ram-Man will most likely be in the present....
The second ultimate battleground takes place in the present,
And Frosta would have accompanied She-Ra and other POP-ers to Eternia, when they followed Hordak (in Bubble Power She-Ra's Bio IIRC)

I only have seen a couple of the inked pages of issue #3 - most of them battle scenes that "someone" showed me, (the same someone who showed me #2 and gave me that Higuchi's character was the beast guy crap) but from what I can gather this is probably a likely scenario if the story continues on the same. I seriously doubt they will sell anymore after the negative backlash however.

EDIT: sell more pages I mean which is sad because they are GORGEOUS.

Interestingly, there may have been some changes to the second issue of the mini comic, from the leaked pages we saw...

Basically in a recent ToyGuru Interview...he states that -

"The shield art from Spector’s package is from mini comic issue 2 included with Snake Man At Arms in June.You will see the art first on Spector and see what was happening in that panel in June."

But anyone who saw the leaked pages will note that this image doesn't seem to appear ->



Possibly, it is a new angle for the part where Mighty Spector is

 

contacting King He-Man after the Eternian Towers begin to sink

but seeing as the art is a little different, it could suggest a bit of reworking before the artwork was finalised.

Also, this might suggest the splash page with all pre-ternia characters might have changed, as the character that many (including myself) speculated to be Vykron in space gear, is not from Preternia according to is bio, so he might have been removed.

Thirdy, the interview does confirm that Higuchi's Character will show up in the mini's..but that might be an issue 3 reveal...

All of them were...though only 2 were final inked pages, the rest were pencils and layouts.

Spector only appeared in 2 panels..neither of which seem to resemble the image on his card-back.

I can't say for sure until I see the second issue, but there were pretty detailed page synopses posted at one point. Some of the leaked pages and the synopses lined up enough to make them all seem credible.
