Sir Laser Lot: Flat Matte or Shiny Mettalic???

Some of us were thinking... what if Sir Laser Lot came in metallic blue, rather than the matte blue shown at NYTF. Not sure if it's too late to get a change, but if it's early enough, and people were looking for this small one... who knows...

So our choices are:

1. Flat Matte Blue

2. Shiny Metallic Blue

And yes, I just realized I misspelled "metallic" in the title... LOL!

I like the figure but he needs some improvement.
Either more reds to throw off all that blue or he-ros loin piece.

I like shiny and kylun flac is super right, he needs more reds or something to counter all that blue.

I said as is because I like him. I dont need to change him. I'm not for it.

That being said, if it were changed from matte to metallic? I wouldnt really care. But then I'm not against it either.

There is a decent, possibly good figure, in SLL- he just needs a few things to make him pop. More red and a metallic blue color, not unlike DCUC's Ares figure, would really improve this guy.

Honestly as nice it would be to have a metallic look, we all know how production could possibly do something to make this regrettable (a la Hurricane Hordak) so sadly I would just stick to regular and my reason would be...

Let's for the sake of doubt keep this character in relation to where he appears in the history of He-Man (Preternia); such a shiny character would seem awkward during the 1st Ultimate Battle Ground since the characters are knee deep in a war, I'd support my theory of having him regular stating that he has been "battle worn and battle torn" which would seem more reasonable.

I think this would seem just like the debate between the Goobler's about Bow wearing Gold...

There's no reason metallic paint needs to be a problem. There's a difference between metal and vac-metal.

DCUC Metal Men figures have some amazing metal paint on them with no issues:

Shiny metallic blue for sure, he is to blah and flat with all that blue making it metallic might help.

Yeah, metallic would've been a better option but we'll see how he is once in hand.

Judging by the pic, we can all see how this one turned out.....

He would have looked much better 2 tone blue and 2 tone red and metallic in places. But a big fat pass on this one for me.
