They don't stay pink. They start appearing more white later, and then (possibly when the Stormtrooper resemblance bordered on copyright infringement) they became black and gray.
I like 'em! In fact, they might make a good stand-in for Skeletor's soldiers from the movie, if they were painted in glossy black.

They are a cool design. I'd definitely buy them. I wonder what fun variants could be made of them in the package (ala the Snake Men and Guard head swaps.)
I'd get them. Since their color design varied in different episodes, they'd be easy to make two packs of.
While I would LOVE these guys now that I think about it, I actually expect them to have a COMPLETELY different helmet look. As this image makes them come off as WAY too close to the design look of the Storm trooper helmet... which might result in a lawsuit. so IF we get these... they will have a different helmet or NO helmet at all.

I don't think there would be any legal issue at all with the helmet in the first picture. It isn't a carbon copy of the Storm Trooper helmet, and it has enough differences to make it unique.

While they may have been influenced some by Star Wars (a lot of stuff in the 80s was including other aspects of MOTU), I don't view them as being close enough to be a problem, particularly if they with colors like the first post. I think almost everybody would want Horde Troopers first, but these would make nice army builders as well.
