It was inspired after Bill Gates pooped some rainbows during the development

There is already several third party mod's out that will restore/replicate the Windows 7 style start menu on Windows 8.

Yeah, But "those" folks really trying to make a profit by making a third party application. =( But some say: If you're good at something, never do it for free.

Do not like the look of Windows 8 one bit. How do forgot something as important as the Start button in a Windows OS .

I bought my mom a new PC with it on there. I haven't messed with it too much, but overall I seemed to like it. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to turn it off and get to the control panel, but other than that it seemed ok. The lack of a start button is odd, but I could probably deal with it. Also going back to the tile screen after clicking on a tile took me a few minutes to figure out.
