1. grenadaspice: If you make an Oo-Larr, could you use Vikor, Sy-Klone or King Grayskull's face sculpt to help set him apart from the other He-Man face sculpt-sharing figures?
We do not have an Oo-lar figure planned at this time, but if we do one in time we imagine he would likely have an original head sculpt. But thse choices are usually made by the Horsemen.
2. sailoruranus: Given how badly things like Hurricane Hordak's vac-metal armor and Snout Spout's foam trunk have performed, are you going to find a way to fix this moving forward? It doesn't add much if it flakes/breaks ruining the entire figure.
This is why we did not give Slushhead bendy tentacles!
3. oICEMANo: We've seen Barbie and Ken in Toy Story. If another Toy Story movie were to be made could we see Classics He-Man and Skeletor in it?
That would be up to Pixar and Disney not the MOTUC team. Sure would be fun.
4. lovelikewinter: The Alcala Skeletor head met with great acclaim. Is there any chance we could see that as the head used for future Skeletor variants (i.e. Dragon Blaster or Terror Claws)?
No. This head is exclusive to Demo-Man and will not be reissued.
5. zodak74: Is it possible to get Horde Prime's staff released with the Horde Troopers as one of their weapons, if and when they are released? It is such a cool weapon and it would be a shame to see this thing completely lost!
We are looking into ways of getting this released. Stay tuned! We got hit by higher costs in 2012 after announcing prices and some accessories had to be cut.

Is it too late to cost cut Mighty Spector entirely and shift those dollars to classic MOTU necessities?
I hope Oo-Lar has an Alcala He-Man head. Fans would buy lots of him to use those heads.
As for Demo-Man, I can see why his head would never be reissued any other way. Demo-Man needs that head to sell. Most fans seem to want that figure only for the Alcala Skeletor head. Well...learning this, fans had better buy him now if they need extra Alcala heads.
I still say the "creepy" head pack is the way to go.
Heck, do two of 'em. One for heroes, one for villains and call the villain one the "Creepy Head Pack" That would be awesome.![]()
Well then, I'm glad I picked one up at the MM March sale & boooo! on that answer. That head is a perfect opportunity to spice up Skeletor variants. At least is a safe bet that NA Skeletor will have a new head....4. lovelikewinter: The Alcala Skeletor head met with great acclaim. Is there any chance we could see that as the head used for future Skeletor variants (i.e. Dragon Blaster or Terror Claws)?
No. This head is exclusive to Demo-Man and will not be reissued.
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.
Me too.
But I've long suspected that Mattel would rather have fans buy 5 $20 200X headed variants than a head pack of 5 200X heads. I've tried to ask about a hypothetical price if a head pack was ever greenlighted, citing how Transformers fans pay through the roof for G1 accurate heads, guns and other 3rd party additions, but TG wouldn't give me an idea of the cost.
I think the acquisition of the Filmation and Jetlag characters replaces the Vintage characters who were previously held hostage. I also have a gut feeling that Mattel no longer needs to worry about saving 200X headed variants because they also have Filmation and Mini-comic variants to make too. That's alot of variants that could be shaved off with a head pack.
Interesting answer to the vac metal and foam truck question; makes me wonder how early they knew of the potential problems. Regardless, I am happy that they did not simply "stay the course" for the tentacles when it came to Slushhead.
Say cheese!!!
*sigh* Just. Don't. Use. The. Foam. I really don't disagree with a vast majority of the choices in this line, but every so often I wonder how this stuff sails over thier heads. Is the foam required for bendy items, now? Since when? I totally don't mind bendy items, and I was behind the foam idea until we found out that it may not always stand the test of time. So why not just go back to the old standby of rubbery plastic that is always used with bendy items? Now Slushhead's robo arms won't be able to do anything...2. sailoruranus: Given how badly things like Hurricane Hordak's vac-metal armor and Snout Spout's foam trunk have performed, are you going to find a way to fix this moving forward? It doesn't add much if it flakes/breaks ruining the entire figure.
This is why we did not give Slushhead bendy tentacles!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay to that answer. I HATE the Alcala head and would be very POed if it became the standard. An extra accessory for those who want it fine but that is NOT the look I want for all Skeletors. Maybe if every Skeletor came with two heads but that would eat up accessory space.

I LOVE the Alcala head, but I still agree with your sentiments. I really like having it as an extra, and I think having it shoehorned into other classic releases would cheapen the effect of how awesome it was to get that little nod to the minicomics. That and, as you stated, it's not really fair to fans of the original figures to throw on the Alcala head when it doesn't really fit. I'll enjoy swapping on the head when Dragon Blaster and Terror Claws come out, but they in no way need to have the Alcala head come with them.

We'll just have to agree to disagree because I do not want the original Skeletor head on every Skeletor variant. I'd like some variety on a figure by figure basis be it the Alcala head, a NA head, a 200x inspired head, etc... That would just be boring for me to have the same exact head over and over and over and over again.
Is it just having an Alcala Skeletor head on a variant every now and again an idea you don't like, or do you not want any other head aside other than MOTUC Skeletor 1.0 head (2.0 beeing toothless) on every Skeletor variant?
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.
Agreed.
I know the ALcala head has fans... but I really am not one of them. I think it just looks 'goofy' not scary or creepy or anything... just... goofy.
Now a sinister looking Filmation head... or 200x head I'd be behind.... at least on a varient or something, but I really love the classics headd for the 'standard' head.
