This is a multiple choice poll with 2 categories to vote in. The first category is whether or not you would buy a variant of this character. The second category is the overall importance you feel this character brings to the franchise.

Variant worthy?

Variant Worthy: This is a character that you believe is variant worthy. You're willing to purchase different variants of this character even if your favorite version is the first one released. Matty can certainly put them in MOTUC's quarterly variant slot for you.

Not Variant Worthy: You don't feel this character needs any variants whatsoever. You only hope that when they make this character that they get them right the first time around. You do not want to be taken for the ass.

Importance

A-List: Integral to the story and the franchise. MOTU isn't MOTU without them. This is a core character that is extremely important to you. If Mattel doesn't make them, someone will have some serious explaining to do!

B-List: They might not be integral to the story in your eyes but this is an excellent supportive character that helps to round out the story, franchise and your collection.

C-List: You feel this is a good guest star type of character. You don't expect to see them hanging around the supportive crew all the time but you still want to see them show up to lend a helping hand now and then.

D-List: Fills the role of background character and cameo maker for you. You acknowledge their existence but in a very limited way. This is an "okay" character.

Z-List: You'd rather forget about this character entirely. Should they never be mentioned again in MOTU-lore, you would be quite happy. This character would kill teh lien for you.

Yes i would want a variant to faker sooner then later, he MUST be battle damaged and have 1 or 2 new accessories or 1 accessory and 2 normal arms and legs and maybe 1 shredded arm and 1 shredded leg exposing the machine within.

They would be saving on the tooling as far as shared parts goes so why not, TG said fans may not want him taking up a monthly slot which is fine so make him a quarterly varaint. Fans would go crazy for a battle damaged faker, more so then the crappy BA faker from the 2pks.

I voted Variant Worthy A- Lister - and am extremely happy that we got Battle Armor Faker in the line . Outside of that tho , another variant might be a bit of a stretch

I'm going to have to put him on B-list since he doesn't appear until sometime after the Snakemen arc. He had a huge role in the bios and what would have happened in MYP to discredit He-Man. Even though that alone would make a great story but once the real He-Man has proven his innocence, Faker will just be another henchman at the level of Stinkor, Two-Bad and Draego Man.

AGREED! It be even nice if they actually issued the Battle Armor Version as well (with maybe some said extras parts)!

I like Faker and he's a must in the line, but I consider him a D-lister because he ain't around for long before he gets wrecked by the Heroic Warriors
I didn't like the BA version. He's Not Variant Worthy to me

Faker is one of my favorite MOTU, I never had a chance to get him back in the day, so I snapped at the first chance to get him, once I first got into the line a few months ago....That being said, as much love as I have for him, it's for the original Faker, the BA 2pk version was not appealing to me, the armor was too bright and should have been painted like Skeletors (only orange) instead of more orange than black, and being too bright, and it could have been dark washed as well. I made my own BA Faker out of modified and repainted Palace Guard armor, and I like it much better, and unless they did a Terminator Faker variant....I don't see too much they can do with him, other than to do a variant with a battle damage head and do a half and half paint job of half He-Man & Half Faker (no chest decal and half and half He-Man armor), like he is being magically transformed from the Faker in Filmation after He-Man tossed him & when Skeletor picked him back up. Other than that as much love as I have for him....I am just happy with the regular orange armored / purple booted version, I have my Faker.

Variant worthy (I'd love to see a Leo Faker) B-Lister (in Classics). I love how the Bios have made Faker a much more important character.

To me, Faker's always been important. I've liked him more than He-Man sometimes, because his identity is built so much upon He-Man, but he's not him. He's his own person entirely. I've always imagined he is around, though maybe not always seen. He could be off having his own adventures, but most of the time, he's like those characters on soap operas who are in town, in the house, but they don't always come into camera. Someone just came from seeing him, someone mentions something he did earlier. Or better yet, he's like Uncle Traveling Matt on Fraggle Rock. The special guest star who is definately a main cast member.

we've never really gotten Faker as a real character. I have always wanted this. I love bizzaro and "reverse evil versions" of characters, maybe because of faker.

He should get b level screen time at least. Give him a chance. I'll say it, he of the old guard gets the least exposure and is one of the most famous.

Faker is one of my favorites. This character is original and essential.
Faker is an A lister = variant worthy provided he is done correctly.
e.g. 80%-90% of the following items need to be included to warrant another purchase, otherwise these can just be packed in Weapons Pack 3 or an accessories-light character:

Magenta Skeletor Armor
Orange He Man Battle Harness
Orange or magenta Skeletor belt
Transluscent orange havoc staff
Transluscent axe
Alter the chest sticker (battle damage, etc.)
Variant color He Man shield
2 Heads (of a possible 3)- 1 Alcala, 1 Texeira, or vintage ‘He Man” Faker head.
[1 of the 2 included heads should be battle damaged-that’s new to the line and would generate some buzz]

Faker retains the same He Man buck, arms, and legs for tooling reuse. Matty might make him even more attractive as a variant- make him a darker blue(between 1st Faker and Webstor?)

Every sci-fi/sci-fi-ish titan with a toy line needs half terminator faced villian to square off against. There is just something menacing about having a half robot version of yourself out there wanting to destroy you and take your place in the world. That is why the DC Direct Superman figure is so awesome. He is my favorite figure in my collection.
The Faker figure is pretty boss too and is high in my rankings, but other than being told that he is a robot, there is not a whole lot of robotness to him. My first faker figure didn't have the sticker on his chest and I thought he was just a alternate form of He-Man. I didn't even know he was a robot until twenty years later.
We need a faker figure that doesn't leave anyone questioning, "What's the deal with this guy? Zombie He-Man?"
I would buy two terminator face fakers if Matty made them. I'm pumped just thinking about it.

I agree. Faker is definitely a D-List character. C at best, but I voted D.

He had a cameo in one Filmation episode, and I can't even remember if he appeared in any of the mini-comics.

I like Faker as a toy, but I really couldn't care less about the character.

He's never been relevant to any of the media or even had a starring role in the stories that he's appeared in.

I wouldn't mind a variant with a different head sculpt though. That could be neat.

Now with his new bio info I think he has a much greater importance. Love that he is getting a higher profile and being used by Skelly. Even some dislike the new reasoning for blue skin... I dig it.

I'm a bit biased... I just think there's too much potential for fun varients here... Color change Faker, Battle Damage Faker... Glowing eyes... Lots of things to make him interesting.

that said, he's only a C list as he never did much anywhere... What was it? one filmation ep? One Mini-comic... and that was LATE in the line...

Faker is a prime character for a varient release. His original run was as an exclusive so a lot of people still need a faker figure. I think a GREAT way to do him would be as a battle damaged varient with a second head revealing robot face exposed and maybe an arm that does the same using the trapjaw removable arms body. And then have him sport the pink leo armor.
