I didn't include him since he's intended to be a parody character. However, I'll take a page out of Scorpia's book with his popularity polls. If anyone in this poll ever gets to 100 votes, I will take the winner (loser?

) of this poll and pit them against other characters in Round 2. Since several folks want him on here, I will definitely include Mo-Larr in Round 2.

I think there's no way the MYP Giants will lose to the NA Scientists. Three colorful, toyetic giants with GOOD weapons versus 4 scientists who squabble, invent deux ex machina devices and run in terror at the word "mutant"?

To me its a dead on tie with TMS and SLL - both characters are a mockery to the 30th anniversary of MOTU and its universe as unimaginative concepts from a child's mine to a design created by an adult fan. Sure there are others i dislike, but these two take the spoiled cake!

Just to be fair, we should also add Illumina if this poll is ever revised. I really hope she's not hated by a ton of people.

but since she has been at the center of a lot of debate, it's only fair we see how she holds up.

I really wish we could do a ranking poll on vBulletin, but we can't. Maybe we can do one on the main page for fun, and just include a revised list.

I don't think Illumina is hated at all. I just think she was just super hyped up for a while and some people took offense to her ranking amongst other characters in MOTU/POP history.

I can. With each passing quality control or shipping mishap, fans vent their anger on burying Toyguru's character.

If the scientists can get made in Classics, then any character can. MOTUC will have no limits.

The Star Sisters are my most hated, I don't like them visually and the real sting is that I had to pay so much for them due to the sub and customs charges in the UK andnow I can't even off-load them for the money I spent on them. No one seems to want the damn things.

The only other MOTUC character I have not opened if Photog as I just can't stnd the design.

Don't worry, I am still rioting for Rio.

Personally, I LOVE Rio Blast quite a lot (as I do most characters on this list, actually) but several people have asked why he wasn't on the list and I know he has his detractors so he should have been included. Of course, I'm sure he wouldn't get the most votes when pitted against some of the others.

Can you rig it and put him against TMS, SLL and SMAA?

People have to remember that the Scientists were designed to be comic relief in a childrens cartoon. Judged on those merits I have no hatred towards them. If they're ever released in Classics I would be very (pleasantly) surprised.

Similarly, Mighty Spector was designed for a kid's toyline. That Scott was a kid himself when he designed him gives him even more leeway.
I don't care for the design but the real irritation is the character's ever growing prominence in MOTU. Thats the reason I rank Spector as worse than Gepple and company. Sir Laser-Lot is even worse as Geoff Johns has written some great comics and designed or re-designed some great characters. So why he would stick to that poor effort I have no idea.

Anyway, my vote went to King Grayskull. From his original appearance I just never liked the character. Loved Veena though.
