Yeesh, that's tough; but I guess I gotta go with Sonic The Hedgehog even if I don't like his current games. I just got WAY more into it back in the day than I did Mario. 'Course I loved both game series, but Mario was just Mario and I didn't really get into the mythos...'cause there wasn't much of one. Sonic had this little epic going from 2 through 3 and S&K and I friggin' LOVED it. I loved how it went from the Death Egg in 2, which crashed into the Floating Island in 3, then came to a culmination in space at the end of 3 hooked to S&K with Sonic chasing down Robotnik for the Super Emerald.

"It's a me, Mario!" While I like Sonic and might even prefer his design more, the Mario games are so much more fun imo.

While I enjoyed most of the Sonic games, I have to go with Mario.

I abandoned Nintendo for Sega when choosing between the Genesis and SNES, gotta give it to Sonic.

I have played more Mario games, and watched his show. I pretty much only played Sonic 2. Personality wise I might like Sonic more, Mario doesn't seem to have much of one. So Mario.
